I regret that I must cancel my Pathfinder Role-Playing game subscription at this time. Hopefully I can pick it up again in the near future. I still wish to keep my other subscriptions.

Thank you

I just received this order (thank you), but one item was sent incorrectly. I ordered GRR1108 "Bow and Blade: Corwyl, Village of the Wood Elves" and what I got was GRR1106 "Bow and Blade: A Guidebook to Wood Elves." I would like the book I ordered, please. It would be okay to send it with my next subscription order, as there is no rush.

What should I do with the book I received by mistake?

(PS: I posted this last night, but the post doesn't show up under "customer service", only on the main messageboard page...phantom post I guess).

I just received this order yesterday evening. I ordered item GRR1108 "Bow & Blade: Corwyl, Village of the Wood Elves," but what I got was item GRR1106 "Bow & Blade: A Guidebook to Wood Elves." Could you please send me the item I ordered? What do I need to do with the book that was sent?

If it is easier, you can send it along with next month's subscription shipment. There is no rush.

We've played 10 sessions of the first chapter of RotRL, averaging 4 hours each (they'd be 5 hours but we tend to spend the first hour socializing, eating, and catching up on what happened last time, since we only get to play an average of twice a month). I have 5 players, and we are trying to incorporate some of the new rules, so that slows us down a bit. 2 players are veteran, 2 rusty, and 1 shiny new. We are very role-playing heavy, so our sessions might sometimes be considered “slow.”

I also feel I should mention one player was in the middle of buying a house during the first 5 sessions, and another was in the process of moving his girlfriend in from another town for a couple of sessions, so there was a lot of interruption with phone calls. That, thankfully, has stopped, and things seem to be moving faster. Also, since 2 are parents, at times the kids in the other room need supervising and that takes the player away for a bit (but gives a couple of others a smoke break).

Anyway, our last session ended with them in the middle of the Catacombs, terrified by all the freakish denizens they are finding, and horribly unsure if they even brought the right tools to kill what imagine is down there (thanks to a certain journal). I imagine it will be another 4, maybe 5, sessions to finish, so I'd say 60 hours total. I'm guessing the next chapter will go a little faster.

I use the plastic lids from yogurt, dip, sour cream, pringles, crystal light packs, etc. Old frisbees work great! (Somehow I managed to collect a bunch over the years). Trace and cut the circle, paint it black (or whatever), and use super glue and "insta-set" spray to adhere. If you want a thicker base, maybe try a hobby store. They have wood circles in the craft area. Cork drink coasters might work too.

I have been a gamer girl since the mid 80s. I've played in female-heavy and male-heavy groups, but my favorites have a good mix of both genders. My normal experience has been about 2 or 3 girls to about 3 or 4 guys. However, I tend to be the only girl that GM's.

Currently, I am running RotRL and absolutely loving it! The players are having a blast as well, from what I can tell. The party consists of:

1) Jacamo, a male Varisian sorcerer of fire-elemental bloodline, played by my husband. He and I have been active gamers since we met back in the early 90s. He's a lot more into other games than I am, though. I tend to stick to D&D.
2) Eoletta, a female Varisian priestess of Desna, twin sister Jacamo, played by my younger sister. She's just getting back into gaming, having not played since 2nd ed.
3) Xandu, a male Varisian fighter, played by a male friend. He started gaming when 3rd ed came out, then dropped out for about 4 years, and then started back in about 2 years ago.
4) Rico, a male Chelaxian rogue, played by a male friend who is also just starting to get back into gaming.
5) Amasali, a female half-elf ranger, played by a female friend and co-worker who has never gamed before in her life. Incidentally, she is the most eager to get us together to play! Yay!

I haven't been so excited about running a game in a long time. When I read Burnt Offerings, I couldn't wait to get some people together and run it. And with all of the dramatic role-playing opportunities presented, I knew I'd want a good mix of male and female players.
