Tahlali was born under a lunar eclipse to a minor noble family of The Mordent Spire. The Waverunners were one of the many Families specifically tasked with returning Azlanti Artifacts back to The Spire for examination. While growing up, he found that while he shared his family’s love of exploration, his chosen path did not lie beneath the waves, but above them.
Training from an early age to take part in the family business, he found himself instead learning the art of the blade. His father, sensing that the sea was not for him, bequeathed to Tahlali a family heirloom, the Silvery Curve Blade known as Arinae. He then tasked him with an important mission. He was to travel to the far off city of Absolom, and there make contact with the mysterious Gillmen that roamed the shores and lived beneath the waves surrounding the city.
He did meet with some Gillmen there, but found them to be uncooperative towards his familiy’s endeavours. Sending word to his father, Tahlali decided to stay on in Absolom, eventually meeting up with another Mordenti Elf, a Ranger by the name of Arela. She told him of the Pathfinder Society and his interest was piqued by such an exploratory group as this. She was happy with his response and told him that if he wanted to join, she would sponsor his way as she herself was a Venture-Captain!
And so he finds himself upon his introductory mission to the Chelaxian city of Westcrown, to explore the closed down and ruinous former headquarters of the Society there, Delvehaven.
A tall thin Elf stands before you dressed all in black. Straight, shoulder length Raven Black hair frames a pale face, with penetrating Ice Blue eyes staring back at you.
A silvery headband encircles his brow, the butterfly of Desna expertly woven into an unassuming symbol displayed upon the front. Strapped to his back is a long slender Silver Sword of obviously fine craftsmanship. A well used Kukri and Mace hang at his belt and a Starknife is held over the scabbard on his back within easy reach.
