About Sellana
Her parents were killed by marauders, her mother very pregnant at the time. As her mother lay dying, with her last breaths, she was able to give birth to her daughter. Despite the best efforts by a Silver Crusader by the name of Sir James, the child was now an orphan.
Because of the magical energy the ended her mothers life as Sellanas life began, the primal energy courses through her, resulting in the unusual characteristic of her solid black eyes with flecks of sparkling gold in them. Unable to return her to the elven people due to their fear of her being marked in this manner, Sir James took the child as his own, raising her among the Silver Crusaders.
When Sir James eventually succumbed to old age, the local Silver Crusader lodge made sure that everyone helped in teaching her, and instructing her. Her powers as an oracle came about, but as they did, she started speaking in Celestial whenever she was stressed and the Silver Crusaders understood that this meant she was blessed, not cursed...
