Desert Child (Katapesh): You were born and raised in southern Katapesh, in the rocky deserts that border Nex. You are accustomed to high temperatures and gain a +4 trait bonus on any saving throws made to resist the effects of being in hot conditions, and a +1 trait bonus on all saving throws against fire effect

Gnoll Killer: You grew up in rural Katapesh, in a region where gnoll activity was a fact of life. You killed your first gnoll at a young age when a group of gnoll slavers attacked your village, home, or caravan, and your hatred of gnolls has only grown since then. Something
in your past fueled your hatred of gnolls even further— perhaps your family was slaughtered by gnolls, or maybe you even served a few harrowing weeks as a prisoner of a gnoll tribe before a miraculous escape. When you heard that Garavel was looking for brave men and women to aid in retaking the village of Kelmarane from a tribe of gnolls in the service of the notorious Carrion King, you knew you had to be part of the group, and signed up immediately. You gain a +1 trait bonus on attack rolls and weapon damage rolls made against gnolls. If you are

History

Sefu grew up among the deserts and wilderness of Katapesh. He was among the nomads of Katapesh, roaming wide and free. His people hunted herded and traded across Katapesh. Sefu killed his first gnoll at a young age, she learned the spear and the sword and walked the camps of his people as they slavers where always close. He learned to hate the cretins, like scavengers living off of others. He spent his years among the southern hills, walked the sand and came to love the land like most of his people. Yet Sefu had more of a calling , a yearning to be more with the land he loved. He had to know more and on his 15th year he walked from his people into the wilderness of Katapesh to stare
the lion in the eyes. And he did, he learned to live from the land, to be one with it to hunt and sleep in the wilderness. For eight years he lived as one with the land, and when he left the wilderness he no longer was Sefu nomad, no he was Sefu the hunter, Sefu the lion, yes he was one with the land.
