Scarab Sages 2/5

Greetings fellow Pathfinders, I'm concocting a character that will be based around the feat Legalistic Reading

Spoiler:
Any Wisdom check you attempt to avoid a mishap when casting a spell from a scroll fails only on a natural 1. When you cast a spell from a scroll, you can attempt a caster level check with a DC equal to 25 + the scroll’s caster level as a free action. If you succeed, the magical writing does not vanish for 1 round; if the spell’s casting time is no longer than a standard action, the scroll can be used again in the following round before its writing fades. You can’t use this feat on a scroll a second time, and you can’t use this feat if the spell on the scroll requires a material component worth more than 10 gp.
and I wanted to know what methods are out there to boost my own CL to make the DC more feasible? I've got Potent Magic and the Orange Prism, and a dwarven trait that grants +1 CL while touching earth or stone, are there any other methods that come to mind? Thanks everyone for any ideas that come to mind!

So I'm not a cleric person, I prefer my wizards soo much better, but I wanted to try something new. So I decided to mess with my party a little by making a CN Seperatist Cleric of Ghlaunder, Desna's opposite. The Dream Tender has granted him power over fate, so he's got the Chaos and Luck Domain, and he does negative channeling giving the sickened condition. Build so far is a Str 14, Dex 14, Con 14, Int 8, Wis 16, Cha 14 (standard Aasimar). I want to go for a combat reflexes set, advice welcome!

If you can include a module in your schedule, Feast of Ravenmoor.

I might be running that ON Halloween. I've given the players a choice between Feast, Carrion Hill, Carrion Crown, Tears at Bitter Manor, or House on Hook Street.

Fellow GMs, as it is currently the most wonderful time of the year I want your opinions on creepy, memorable scenarios for Friday games this month. I've already got Haunting of Hinojai which will be ran on the 28th and Day of the Demon prepped for this week. Thanks guys!!

I think this trick works-- if you're a Charisma-fueled Psychic, you can take Noble Scion of War to base your initiative on Charisma. Then the armor check penalty should cease to apply.
You're not entirely wrong, but worth pointing out this would also kill your Reflex save.

Fair, though if you do the 2 level dip in Pally you really won't care with your high CHA

By the way, is it just me, or is Hallusinigenic Aura like, the worst ability out there? Like, it doesn't say you can turn it off, so you walk down the street and basically half the citizenry dies within 1 round of you passing by

Confused
1-Act normally
2- Do nothing
3-Attack nearest creature
4-deal 1d8 dmg to yourself

level 1 commoners don't have that much HP!

According to my local VL that is correct! Hopefully we'll get an errata on that soon! ^^
