I'll second most, if not all, the aforementioned points. Still, the movie is easily the best Bond movie in a while. Craig is an excellent James Bond as he blends together the strengths of several earlier incarnations - he is the most physical Bond by far, but at the same time remains a rather witty character. Also, there are no painfully ridiculous characters a la Denise Richards as the nuclear physicist Christmas Jones.
Good movie. Go see it!
Good to hear! I'm a fan of Ian Flemming's novels and it sounds like this movie is taking Bond back to his literary roots and away from the campy, satirical character that the Hollywood franchise turned him into. I, too, was turned off by fatuous characters like Christmas Jones. Looking forward to seeing this.
