About Scrape Kong

Scrape was born to an acrobat circus family in Absalom. His parents named him Scrape as that was the word they heard others use to refer to their son the most "Scrape him off the ground." when he was a toddler. Scrape tried mimicking his parents acrobatic maneuvers when he was a toddler but usually failed and fell to the ground instead. When Scrape was 3 he became fascinated with the family of apes that were part of the circus. He started mimicking their agile acrobatics maneuvers instead of his parents and found he fell to the ground less often that way. When he became an adult (7 years old) he decided that he wanted to find apes in their natural environment to study their movements and social interactions with each other. He did not know how to afford such a quest or to where to go. One evening a group of Pathfinder Society students were attending a circus show and struck up a conversation with Scrape. He went to apply to the Pathfinder Society the next day. When the recruiter asked him what his name was, Scrape replied in enthusiastic song "My name is Kong! I like to sing along! My name is Scrape! I'm a big strong ape!"
