"Well, in the end nothing very distressing awaited us fellows" then Scath walks over to help carry the body. On the way back the half-elf makes clear his respect for the fellows during this mission.
Feeling restored by the healing power of Kellean, the half-elf moves dangerously to reach the creature that´s attacking Stullun.
Using Combat Expertise and going to O19 and attacks flanking the demon. Axe, hooked:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22_to_1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11_damage
After abandoning his fear, the half-elf realizes that feeling has been just a passing hallucination. The anger by that suffered "humiliation" is too much to him, even with blood dripping from tolerated wounds, he runs up the creatures that led to that situation ...
Scáth runs to Q21, and prepares to attack.
The blood scent of fear in the incomprehensible words that Scáth is hearing sounds like an echoes of a profane cult, so, the panic take control of his mind, he come cowering himself in front of the creatures.
His face exudes horror and despair.
"GET OUT, get off me, ... ... !"
Scáth tries to observe the stealthy movements of the dwarf, worried about keeping quiet to not draw the attention of the "creatures".
Stealth:1d20 + 2 - 6 ⇒ (13) + 2 - 6 = 9
So even messed by his armor, with his ax in hand, he walks to get close enough to try to see what is hidden in the vault ...
Scáth picks one of the vials of Bless Weapon and thanks with a positive head movement. Following by the "Skytower", concerned about the danger, the half-elf tries to observe if there are any traces of recent movement on their way.
"Surrender or suffer the consequences, if not, y'all will pay with your lives!"
Scáth seeks disarm the closest opponent ......
CMB Disarm:1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10 ops, maybe with the +1 morale bonus on attack rolls from Kellean Bless, and +1 competence on an attack from Guidance.
"Me too, let´s be ready! I think than I, Stullun and Arnthoth can close the loop on the invaders, so, Cogstadt can get in and then take advantage of a strategic position. Kellean maintains a safe distance from conflict. Anyway, initially, I can try to get the thugs´s attention on me. Maybe, if we stay stealthy in this room we can have the surprise on our side."
Scáth will stay quiet, with his back next to reinforced door.
"When the fight starts I´ll stand in frontline, my defensive skills can be helpful in dealing with these thugs. Unfortunately I dont have caltrops or oil, would be interesting to make their way more fun!
Anyway I can help reinforce the doors with planks. We dont have much time..."
Scath remains alert at Kellean´s side. "If abadar welcome us, I´m sure that Pharasma guide us through this dark paths ... Could you help us, old man, maybe knowing something about this "long-lost Prince"?"
"Sentry point to sewers? Are you head of any organization or just watchmen? We´re just doing research for society. And, as my friend said we can help, after all, everything has a cost. We´ve some abilities to aid you. What do you think?"
Scáth uses the speech to get some advantage and walks towards the group, trying to get closer to men.
Untrained Bluff:1d20 ⇒ 7 Since the targets are "friendly", they may want to believe on Scáth, giving +5 to test.
Scáth raises his hands and says "My companion speaks the truth, we´re not looking for conflict, just passing through." Aid Another Diplomacy:1d20 ⇒ 11to give +2 bonus to Kellean Kalyer´s Diplomacy check.
Scáth going to sewers concerned about this unsafe place, "How can anyone live in this place?" Fort:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
Underfoot tries to remember some tip or way to avoid or take a better resistance to these putrid water.
Survival:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Walking on the docks Scath focuses his mind to the moments of tension and fighting that will come, thinking about the methods and survival techniques necessary to live in places like the sewers.
"Well, we´ve to investigate. So, the sooner we get out, more quicker responses we´ll have on hands. About this Almsman I don´t believe that they will accepting any charitable, perhaps gold, however this will make them imagine that they can take some advantage over us. Greed is a poison. We´ve to deal with these outlaws on the right way, through the punishment provided by law!"
Looking at the poor man, Scáth signs complacency to Kellean´s words. Even not believing in the speech of the old man he think about the situation. That the nobility isn´t is on appearance, the rightful merit is won by the value and bravery, both recognized by the blood. So, he waiting by the aswers from Gandros, the carry of a wayfinder by him is a mystery to be cleared up.
By watching the arrival of fellow pathfinders Scáth opens a shy smile, his elven facial traits are evident now.
So he turns to the newcomers, turning with him his large black jacket that covers a scale mail armor underneath. Then, through a soft voice he congratulates everyone, "Good to see a group full of life, that the blessings of Lady of Graves stays with everyone here", then he going back to open the door to hear what the unknown man has to say.
Slowly a man of youthful appearance enters the room in time to hear the conversation unfolded, What kind of tale is this? so, he walks toward the door. On the way beckons to fellow pathfinder companions.
At least, nice faces...
His clothes highlights the Taldor´s bound and under his jacket a hooked axe is visible for anyone making clear his combat training.
Interested, I never played in PFS but already have some experience in PBP. Presenting here Scath Tamarie, a Fighter (Weapon Master) half-elf bastard of Taldor.
Noble Pursuit:
Scath grew up learning how to deal with violence, physical and social. Bastard son of a nobleman never had its origin recognized, nonetheless, he always wanted to show its value. Thus, since childhood has trained in troops and militias from Faldamont. Luckily, even being a bastard, his father arranged for him to train with a mentor who worked his balance between strength and agility. Now, when the Pathfinder Society accepted her as a member, came the time to show their value. Time to prove that Taldor´s blood is running on your veins!
