Description:
Standing 5' 4" tall, this cream skinned woman has a respectable feel about her. Particularly notable is her obvious sense of style and personality. She has an ovular face with a rounded chin, small nose and puffy lips. Her dark brown eyes are large with matching eyebrows. Her brown hair falls to shoulder length at the tips, but is cut shorter the further back it goes until it reaches the upper portion of the back of her neck.
The fact that she is “all in” on purple isn’t difficult to see at all. On her face she wears matching purple eyeshadow and lipstick as well as the assorted leathers of her boots, tunic and arm sleeves.
A well-loved rapier hangs in its scabbard at her lift hit and she is often seen showboating her narrow but athletic frame around with a quirky smile.
Background:
Saylah’s parents had a tryst that resulted in her birth out of wedlock. She was raised as an only child by her carpenter father, but he never revealed who her mother was. One day as a child, Saylah told a tale, and her raw natural ability captivated everyone who saw her perform. Words and music have always come to her effortlessly, as naturally as breathing.
Since childhood, she has observed the world around her and translated those observations into story and song. Her unique, unabashed vision resonated with the audience, revealing new perspectives as well as simple truths. She’s used to people quoting her words and looking up to her, though some authority figures deem her a rabble-rouser and troublemaker.
After her father was killed over a debt he was unable to repay, she began to move from town to town in search of the next thrill. With her performances able to keep her fed and dry, it wasn’t until she met a member of the Pathfinder Society one afternoon and struck up a conversation with him that new possibilities in life were revealed.
Over the coming weeks, he helped demonstrate to her she could reach a higher calling by using her natural gifts for a purpose other than entertainment. Helping shape the foundation of working together with a team to accomplish greater goods, she quickly found herself at the footsteps of the Sovereign Court.
