No one in their group has any tinge of evil detected. You do notice that Tal is wearing a Topaz lion headed ring that matches your holy symbol.

A fighter approaches in dervish garb. "Your man servant if he still lives, may be with the rest of the prisoners. We are seeking them presently." He offers you a water skin, "I am no servant, but you are welcome to share my refreshments."

"There is someone tied up in the other room!"

Haltashaar double moves in front of Tal.

"Thank-you, brother." He responds in a crackly voice. Besides of need of water and a little food, he is about all healed.

Know the feeling of being too old, lol having started posting in the wrong thread!

You hear a noise from the north. Stumbling out the darkness is Haltashaar. He is wounded and has not eaten for two days.

"My friends, this place is a trap. They have captured Moram and most of the guards. I barely escaped with my life thanks to Cornelius."

Two new wagons are procured and filled with provisions for the journey.
Drovers are hired to drive them who double as cooks, starting at 5 AM cooking flat bread.

"You will take turns riding as guards on the food wagons, the rest will serve as outriders."

"Yes, the caravan master provides guards and their mounts with all sustenance that will needed for the journey. There is a market on Isis street with the finest dates in Khemet. Some of the most popular date varieties in the region include Deglet Noor, Medjool, and Khalas."

He hands the three of you a light lance.
