Saquiel's family have lived in Osirion for centuries. Descendants of Varronax the Cambion, a powerful half-demon warrior who was spared by General Arnisant after a brutal but honorable duel. For returning to his army’s camp defeated, Varronax was killed and disemboweled by the lieutenants of the Whispering Tyrant. The Shining Crusade revived him, and he fought alongside them from that point forwards. His descendants have striven to be heroes, and developed a sterling reputation. Saquiel, unlike Varronax, he is not much of a warrior, but he is clever and studious. He has studied at the Academy of Scribes in Tephu and picked up a diverse array of skills (including rhetoric, in which he excelled). There are rumors that a descendant of the Pharaonic line married into the family at one point - which would be a scandal if not for the exemplary reputation of this tiefling clan.
Appearance and Personality:
Saquiel is short, wiry, and undeniably fiendish. He has a visible (and prehensile) tail, small horns, and notable (though not combat-effective) fangs. He speaks eloquently with excellent diction. He is patient, kind, and generous, though not overly concerned with honor in combat (he is willing to fight dirty).
Role:
Saquiel is a ranged combatant who can handle disabling traps and fighting swarms. He is a surprisingly durable combatant, being tough and elusive. He is also a very good Diplomat. His Perception is low for finding traps for now, but will improve over time.
