History:
Born under a blue moon, Sapphire came into the world in the arms of her mother loving mother, only to be given away at an orphanage for reasons unbeknownst to her only 2 years later. She grew up among other children who parents had either died from war, famine, or disease. She was often bullied by the other kids of her mother leaving her there, not wanting her. This had affected her to where she had began to pull pranks on the other children who mocked her, often making individuals fear her as she would torment them over time. To those that she liked, she would have a great deal of fun being with them, even trying to get them to join her on her missions of mischief. But the time that the hurtful words would get to her, Sapphire would spend nights looking up out at the moon, as the only thing that she had to remember her mother by was a sapphire moon necklace. She had been told by the caretakers of the orphanage that her mother was not from the city, but from somewhere in the outskirts of the land. At the age of 14, Sapphire ran away in search of her mother.
While in her search, Sapphire came to a valley of thick forest. Barely making out a stack of smoke above the tree line, she felt that maybe she could stay there for the night. However, she had misjudged the distance and became lost in the thick trees. While wandering aimlessly for hours under the canopy, an barn owl caught her attention, flying through the branches with prey in beak. She followed it, managing to keep up with the bird and skillfully navigate the dark, harsh terrain. The owl led her to a small house, the one that had been producing smoke.

Inside she met several women who revealed themselves to be witches. They were astonished to see Sapphire as she resembled her mother who had been with them for many years. They told her that she had gone one day and disappeared without a trace, disbelieving that she was dead, but had maybe traveled to another plane. The witches asked if Sapphire would stay with them, as they could help raise her and train her to take care on her own as she searches for her mother.
3 years later, Sapphire set out on her own with her new skills and the owl familiar, leaving behind her new family in search of new knowledge and power in hopes that it will eventually lead her to her mother.

Although having a rather pretty face, her personality is difficult for some to get past. Her sporadic behavior and sometimes sadistic tendencies tend to push others away. Usually quiet and carefree, Sapphire goes through the day admiring and observing the world around her as she walks through the streets of cities and towns, blending into society. She enjoys the simple things in life, nice clothes, the sound of birds chirping, the smell of freshly baked cakes, new accessories, the cries of a tormented soul, fear in the eyes of victims shrouded in darkness, the feeling of blood running down her hands after a kill, and a little love. At the first smell of mischief and excitement, her mood switches as quick as the wind into a determined hunter, searching for the prey to fall under her devises. In her spare time, when she she has run out of subjects to toy with, Sapphire experiments with brewing alcohol. In her travels she has sampled all sorts of concoctions, all while trying to make her own to top them, capitalizing on their potency while not sacrificing fine flavor. She believes everything is more fun with a belly full of rum.
