Female Human (Krieglander) Frost Sorceress 2
Saorise wanders the hold with Jorgen while the others run the meet and greet on the shore. Probably better I'm not there, she thinks to herself with a grin, all it would take is for one of them to be an idiot and I'd have us kicked back out of the town.
Female Human (Krieglander) Frost Sorceress 2
Saorise looks longingly again at the buildings before agreeing with Jorgen. "It's agreed then."
Female Human (Krieglander) Frost Sorceress 2
Saorise sniffs at Jorgen's remark, but doesn't correct him. "I want to be in a nice soft bed tonight instead of that Gods forsaken wood, but I also want to make sure nothing happens to the ship in the mean time. What do you think, should we stay here for the night or go ashore? I must admit that my funds are lacking at the moment so even though I want that bed, I won't fight you if you say to stay." She looks longingly at the shore as she finishes.
Female Human (Krieglander) Frost Sorceress 2
Saorise stays back with Jorgen, watching the others as they try to keep those on shore off balance with multiple sources of speech. She smiles and whispers again to Jorgen, "it appears that some of them are good for something after all, even that bastard Priest."

Wisdom Check: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14 SAorise looks longingly at the shore as they get closer, wanting to be back on dry land for an extended period, but still wanting to keep the riddle of the Albatross fresh in her mind.

Upon hearing of Thorsten's "problem", Saorise moves to discuss what to do with Jorgen. "I think we should urge him to contact the Druids, possibly giving him a message from yourself with your recommendation that he be trained. What do you say?" As they finally enter the port, Saorise breathes a sigh of relief, finally happy to be off the blasted sea and back on land. She is however still interested in the mystery of what happened on the ship and will continue to discuss the situation with Jorgen and anyone else who wants to see it solved.

OK, I'm sorry it took me so long to catch up. Getting back from holidays I had to re-format my computer (and thankfully upgrade to Windows 7) and so that took a few days to get it back up to scratch. Then I've been sick and busy and had to catch up with half a dozen PbPs (I'm sorry yours was the last FW). I'm back again now and finally ready to continue if you'll have me. :) Level 2 Ice Sorceress Hit Points: 1d6 ⇒ 3

Watching the leadership struggle with interest, Saorise is surprised to see Jorgen wading into the argument.
Female Human (Krieglander) Frost Sorceress 2
Saorise squints as she tries to understand Ragnar's question, but when he points to Thorsten she quickly understands and after a few words she lays her hand on is arm. Casts endure elements He almost immediately stops his chattering and is up and about soon after. "I don't necessarily want to leave the ship until we've figured out what is going on, no matter how much I hate sailing, but I think the Druid has a good idea, that we should at the very least do some exploing in the other direction to see what we can on foot."
Female Human (Krieglander) Frost Sorceress 2
Saorise's eyes narrow as she looks around at the scant crew left after the mass desertion. "How exactly are we supposed to move this great thing with the few that we have here?" she asks at nobody in particular. "I for one wouldn't even be able to lift one of those oars, let alone row with it and I doubt the Half-Elf over there," she points in Helga's direction, "could do much better."
Female Human (Krieglander) Frost Sorceress 2
At Kurn's telling of the others leaving, Saorise snorts in derision. "Cowards. not one of them man enough to face what is happening. Rather run home to suckle at their mother's teat."
Female Human (Krieglander) Frost Sorceress 2
Saorise thows her hands up in exasperation after a long and fruitless seach of the ship. "I give up," she says to Jorgen angrily. "Whatever did this to the ship and crew is either extremely powerful and is easily evading our search, or is gone which would indicate one of the crew members is responsible."

FW, do you require any Rolls from Saorise or Jorgen for their investigations? I'm happy for you to make them if you haven't already been doing so. :)

Jorgen Ulrichsson Truesight wrote: "We should probably examine the ship while everyone's off of it. What do you think?" Saorise has a far off look in her eyes as Jorgen approaches and for a moment she doesn't respond. Finally, her features harden and she turns to him, saying, "yes, I agree. There is definately something strange about this ship and I intend to find out what." She gets the far away look once more and then leans in close to her companion and whispers, "do you remember the feeling I got before? Well last night while sleeping I had the most vivid dream." She then goes on to tell Jorgen about her dream.Jorgen look under the spoiler above for Saorise

Saorise drops the wind once she hears what was going on and scowls at Kurn's taciturn grumbling.
Female Human (Krieglander) Frost Sorceress 2
Watching from the the ship, Saorise sees Taggrik drop the knife and step away from Drago. She keeps the wind close 6 rounds remaining, but halts it's assault on the First Mate to see what he is about, since the others are all gatherd by this point.
Female Human (Krieglander) Frost Sorceress 2
Saorise glances quickly back at Kurn and informs him of the situation before returning her attention to stopping Taggrik. Saorise continues with her biting wind attack on Taggrik (7 round left after this one)

Saorise looks up at Taggrik through bleary eyes. Those eyes narrow as she takes in his demeanour and insistence.
Female Human (Krieglander) Frost Sorceress 2
"I'll try and cautiously watch people for signs of magic use," Saorise whispers back. "It won't make me any friends if I'm caught, but I think that ship sailed around the same time this one did, no." She gives a smirk with the last statement. "Not that I care what anyone else thinks mind you."
Female Human (Krieglander) Frost Sorceress 2
Looking disturbed by the news that the attacker is someone onboard the ship, she motions towards the now defaced Runes.
Female Human (Krieglander) Frost Sorceress 2
Saorise moves over to where Drago is laying to see if she can be of some kind of help on the voyage. Feeling that he is burning up, she attempts to create some ice over his leg to stem the spread of the poison and try to bring down his burning. After her time with Drago, she head back out onto the deck and over to the rail as they approach land.
Female Human (Krieglander) Frost Sorceress 2
Jorgen approaches Saorise, a question evident in his eyes.
Female Human (Krieglander) Frost Sorceress 2
Now that the ship is sailing smoother, Saorise rises shakily to her feet and staggers to the railing. She leans over and the remaining contents of her stomach go arching into the water. Her normally pale complexion is whiter than ever, but after a few more minutes with no more heaving, a small amount of colour returns to her cheeks and she manages to stand against the rail and look at the crew scurrying around.

I'm so sorry guys. Work has once more been a freakin' nightmare and the last week has seen me totally worn out, to the point where I have been going to bed at the same time as the kids instead of staying up to do my internets. :( French Wolf: FW I'm really sorry. I have had far too many absences lately and I apologise. If you want me to drop out then I fully understand.
If however you want me to stay, we can say that Saorise was violently ill from the stormy weather and has been unable to help out with anything until the storm cleared and the seas calmed back down. It's your call and I will abide by your decision.

A flash of anger clouds Saorise's face as Jorgen holds her back, but after glancing at the Ice Gargoyle and noting it looking back, the anger fades and she sighs once more.

She takes a few steps back towards the ice encased staff, her arm held out before her as if to stroke it.

Saorise looks at Jorgen, who is eyeing her suspiciously. "It was like... everything was right all of a suden and then it was gone. It is the strangest feeling I've ever had. I wonder; could the staff be involved somehow?"

Seeing Anya standing guard over the amazing creature and Ragnar searching for anything mundane, Saorise decides to cautiously move closer to the Staff. When she is near, she whispers some arcane syllables and motions towards the frozen rod.
Female Human (Krieglander) Frost Sorceress 2
Sorry for my absence guys. (Self inflicted) Problems with internet... :/ Saorise's eyes flicker to the various items in the chamber, wondering about this treasure that the creature is guarding. She only half pays attention to it's words, except when anything about the treasure is concerned, especially regarding the Staff of the Eye.

When Jorgen turns back around, Saorise riases an eyebrow and grins to herself. She then puts her hand on his shoulder and whispers in his ear, "I wish to see what is going on a little closer, cover me."
Female Human (Krieglander) Frost Sorceress 2
Saorise stands back next to Jorgen. After her attacks did nothing to what she now knows are Storm Elementals, she is feeling a little vulnerable and is happy for Jorgen's protective closeness. She listens intently to the exchange going on between Kurn and the disembodied voice, while looking down the icy deck towards the frozen figure displayed upon it.
