The class balance feels good, the math isn’t overwhelming, and the community support is outstanding. However, it suffers from one syndrome that haunts the crea Smite Evil (1/day) (Su) +2 to hit, +2 to damage, +2 deflection bonus to AC when used. -------------------- Sami, stocky and tall, grew up with a strong moral compass in an area where that was not a common thing. She never knew her mother and her father was something of an outlaw. At least he taught her there was no shame in being part orc, in her case one fourth. At a young age her father shipped her to a relative of her mothers in Sandpoint. A smith. He also sent her a few items that would pay for her care one of which was a broken pistol that he thought could be melted for the metal. Sami Korvut was sent to Sandpoint to live with (and apprentice under) Das Korvut, a bald and powerfully muscled man whose temper is short. He has little patience for customers, and even less for everyone else, but he tolerated her presence. She worked at the Red Dog Smithy (owned by her uncle), named for its owner's affection for large red mastiffs, two to three of which can always be seen lounging about nearby. Sandpoint suffers his foulmouthed attitude and frequent drunken midnight rants because he really does know his job, and as long as he's busy hammering metal, he stays relatively calm and confined to his smithy. As she grew she read and re-read the stories she could find of the Accidental God and took them to heart. Fighting for the freedom of herself and others struck a cord and she made a vow to herself then and there that she would become one of his hand on earth. Inspired she even worked out a way to fix the old pistol her father had sent with the items meant for her care. She was sure it could help her care for herself out in the world and made that her goal. When she left to make your fortune, he grunted a simple good-bye, but you always felt like there was some warmth and sadness behind it. Now coming back to Sandpoint Sami looks forward to seeing her uncle and even showing of how good of a shot she has become. Of course sharing a few drinks at Risa’s Tavern would be very welcome as well. + + + + + Quick to laugh, quick to stick up for others and most importantly quick with her pistol she has come back to Sandpoint. If you listen she will claim a vision guided her, one night after an excessive amount of drink, to return home for her calling awaited her.
