About Salurial

Saluriel is a Demon-Spawn, or Pitborn tiefling. He stands 6 feet tall and weighs in at 200 pounds. He has red scaled skin and shoulder length strait purple hair. Prominent white horns jut out from his forehead. His left eye is golden and his right eye is an unnatural green color with a reptilian iris. His long red tail swishes around nearly constantly, though he can exhibit a great deal of control over it when he wants too, even retrieving stowed items with it. Bright white pointed teeth serve Saluriel well in combat. He has not shown any capabilities for any racial magical talent. His cloven hoofed feet enable him to run or charge faster than most humans.

Saluriel was orphaned and left for the Church of Sarenrae. He took to their teachings well. While his understanding of doctrine is very poor, he is quite sure of his faith. His demonically strengthen muscles and personality serves him well in his career as a Paladin of Sarenrae. He was recruited into the Pathfinder Society by the Silver Crusade, noted for his potential to become a potent force for good, despite his heritage. He feels grateful to any that would accept him, though he knows that there are some, even within the Silver Crusade, that believe his heritage will prove to be his undoing.

Being a tiefling surrounded by the good and righteous is, a very difficult lot in life. Saluriel hates his heritage, and occasionally throws himself in the path of attacks aimed at others in an attempt to end his own life. His faith is one of the only things that keeps him going, he especially finds Sarenrae’s views on redemption meaningful.
