Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Virtuoso Bravo Paladins are proficient with all simple and martial weapons, and with light and medium armor.

Aura (Ex): The power of a virtuoso bravo paladin's aura of good (see the detect good spell) is equal to her virtuoso brave paladin level.

Bravo’s Finesse (Ex): A virtuous bravo paladin can use her Dexterity modifier instead of her Strength modifier on attack rolls with light or one-handed piercing melee weapons (though if she carries a shield, she applies its armor check penalty to such attack rolls), and she can use her Charisma score in place of her Intelligence score to meet prerequisites of combat feats. This ability counts as having the Weapon Finesse feat for the purpose of meeting feat prerequisites.

Bravo’s Smite (Su): Once per day, a virtuoso bravo paladin can call out to the powers of good to aid her in her struggle against evil. As a swift action, the virtuoso bravo paladin chooses one target within sight to smite. If this target is evil, the virtuoso bravo paladin adds her Charisma bonus (if any) to her attack rolls and adds her virtuoso bravo paladin level to all damage rolls made against the target of her smite. If the target of smite evil is an outsider with the evil subtype, an evil-aligned dragon, or an undead creature, the bonus to damage on the first successful attack increases to 2 points of damage per level the virtuoso bravo paladin possesses. Regardless of the target, smite evil attacks automatically bypass any DR the creature might possess.
If the virtuoso bravo paladin targets a creature that is not evil, the smite is wasted with no effect.
The smite evil effect remains until the target of the smite is dead or the next time the virtuoso bravo paladin rests and regains her uses of this ability. At 4th level, and at every three levels thereafter, the virtuoso bravo paladin may smite evil one additional time per day, to a maximum of seven times per day at 19th level.

Detect Evil (Sp): At will, a paladin can use detect evil, as the spell. A paladin can, as a move action, concentrate on a single item or individual within 60 feet and determine if it is evil, learning the strength of its aura as if having studied it for 3 rounds. While focusing on one individual or object, the paladin does not detect evil in any other object or individual within range.

Traits:
Reckless (basic [combat]): You have a tendency for rash behavior, often disregarding your own safety as you move across the battlefield. You gain a +1 bonus on Acrobatics checks, and Acrobatics is always a class skill for you.

Undead Crusader (campaign, Mummy’s Mask AP): You have dedicated your life to eradicating the scourge of the undead from Golarion. You have spent countless hours studying the different types of undead and have trained endlessly to learn the best ways to defeat them. If any undead creatures come out of the tombs of Wati’s necropolis, you’ll be ready for them! You gain a +1 trait bonus on damage rolls against undead creatures. In addition, you gain a +1 trait bonus on Knowledge (religion) checks, and that skill is always a class skill for you.

Part 2: Facts

Write at least five things about your character’s concept and background, five things that you think are the most essential parts of your character.

  • Sahbana was found abandoned on the steps of the Zenith of the Dawnflower. She was raised by one of the elderly matron priestesses.
  • Sahbana was trained from an early age as a sacred dancer of the church. She would eventually lead the young children in their dances. Secretly, or so she thought, she was also trained in the use of the scimitar. When she was being sent to Taldor, High Priestess Samisalah gifted upon her a mithral bladed scimitar. The blade bears the name fajar altifl, “Dawn Child” in Kelesh.
  • In addition to her training as a dancer, Sahbana also spent many years running around the many stairs of the Zenith. She fell many times, and the priests and priestesses would yell to her that she would hurt herself. The falls simply taught her to be more careful.
  • Sahbana’s faith in Sarenrae is absolute, but she is still torn by the old faith’s belief in peace and the Cult of the Dawnflower’s more militant side. It was this personal conflict that led High Priestess Samisalah to send Sahbana to Taldor.
  • During her travels to Taldor, Sahbana had her sacred scimitar destroyed. She looks to repair it but has not yet had the chance. Sahbana fought those that destroyed it, but stopped short of actual vengenance.

List two goals for the character that you, as a player, think would be cool to see accomplished in-game.
  • Have “Dawn Child” repaired and consecrated again.
  • Show to those in Taldor that Sarenrae’s faithful are not the monsters they were told they are.

List two secrets about your character. One is a secret the character knows, one is a secret that involves him but that he is not actually aware of yet.
  • Sahbana has trouble controlling her vengeful side. Offering forgiveness to those who have committed atrocities is the hardest part of following Sarenrae’s faith.
  • Sahbana’s father was an aasimar warrior devoted to Ragathiel. She shares his blood, and his righteoius anger. (Sahbana does not know of this)

Describe three people that are tied to the character though blood, romance or honor. Two of them are friendly to the character, one is hostile. If you like, you can include an enemy of yours here as well, so I have an instant NPC nemesis to throw at you. [list]
  • Dimah, the matron who raised Sahbana in the church. Sahbana sees her as a mother or grandmother figure and it is in her honor that Sahbana tries to live by the old Sarenite faith. She was killed during a trip she and Sahbana took, and with her dying breath she asked Sahbana to figure the thieves responsible. (friend/family)
  • Olek Rahal, an experienced paladin of Sarenrae and senior member of the Cult of the Dawnflower at the Zenith. Olek taught her to use the scimitar as a weapon of war and help her adapt its use to her slight stature compared to most holy warriors. Sahbana feels she is a disappointment to Olek because she wishes to heed the wishes of Dimah. (friend/family)
