Sabriel looks towards the others and motions at the Lizard Man. "What are we going to do with scaly over here? Any of you speak Lizard?"

Leaving the others to negotiate with the natives, Sabriel skirts the entangling mass, heading over to the final Lizard-Man.
She raises her arm in front of her and Eldritch energy pulses in her hand. She calls out to the creature "surrender and you will not be harmed", letting her tone and demeanour convey her meaning, even if the creature can't understand her words.
Intimidate Check. (1d20+4=22)

lol.. I can certainly understand the lack of sleep... I got just over an hour last night and my eyes are falling out of their sockets now (10pm). Gotta catch up with my PbPs first, I'm soo behind!

Holy crap! Higher than an 18 Touch AC! This could be interesting...

Shocked that her Eldritch Blast went soaring over the creature's head, she concentrates herself and lets loose another.
Eldritch Blast (Ranged Touch Attack) against Plant Monster. (1d20+4=19) Hopefully 19 will hit it's Touch AC or else I'm definately in trouble!
Damage. (2d6=8)

Reflex Save. (1d20+4=17) I'm assuming that made it? You didn't give a DC.

Sabriel avoids the worst of the fire sent her way, thanks to both her quick reflexes and eldritch heritage.
seeing the Shaman fall and the remaining Lizardfolk still trapped, she now turns her attention towards the next biggest threat in her estimation, the Plant Creature. She once again sends a bolt of arcane energy streaking towards it.
Eldritch Blast (Ranged Touch Attack) at the Plant Creature. (1d20+4=18) Add +1 if we laos gain the benefit of the Bless. I'm not sure if we would as we're not yet considered allies.
Eldritch Damage. (2d6=6)

Sabriel makes sure Larkspring is alright in his climb, before firing off a Bolt of Eldritch Energy at the Lizardfolk Shaman.

"Right now I think that Shaman is the biggest threat. You never know what kind of mojo someone like that can cook up," she says in response to Triska's query.

Sabriel looks back and forth between the three new groups in play on the scene and decides that of the three, the one with what appears to be a spellcaster is the most dangerous.
She turns her gaze upon the Lizardfolk Shaman and releases a burst of Fiery anger.

Sabriel keeps an eye on the Lizard folk coming down the trail towards her. She doesn't continue any further without the others, but she doesn't back away just yet, not sure of their intentions.
She calls back down the cliff. "C'mon Larkspring. This is no time for sitting around resting." She laughs, appearing non-threatening towrds the Lizardfolk. "Just use the rope and you'll be fine."

Seeing Larkspring fall, Sabriel is torn between keeping an eye on the creatures above and helping. She quickly pulls out her rope and secures it, all the while glancing up. Once it is secured, she calls to the others to be careful and stops to wait for them. She keeps her hands by her sides, but makes sure her Eldritch Power is ready to be called at a moment's notice.

Sabriel continues her easy climb. She looks back down and sees Larkspring in trouble. She looks around for somewhere to tie a rope to.

Can Sabriel get to the top and tie off a rope to drop down and assist the others in their climb?

Sabriel nods and then concentrates for a moment. A soft glow envelops her hands and feet for a second before fading. She walks over to the rocks and gently place a hand against it, hauling herself up the cliff like a spider.

Activate Spiderwalk Invocation. Spider Climb lasts 24hrs.

Sabriel doesn't need healing (I think, unless like Rob I forgot to mark it down)

Sabriel spends the rest of the night in a bit of a mood. The normally personable Celadrin is upset after the battle with the glowing ball and spends the time by herself and sleeping.

She wakes up in a much better mood the next morning and spends the day conversing with everyone as they labour (not something sjhe enjoys, but not something she complains about either) to move the ship.
She whistles appreciatively as the falls come into view and nods in agreement at Triska's statement.
"Yes I'm intrigued as well. Do you mean some kind of plant monster?"

Not giving up on her efforts, especially now that everyone else seems to be joining her offensive against the Glowing Ball, Sabriel once again swings and misses with her Rapier.

Whoops, sorry didn't realize we were waiting on me!

Sabreil sees the others defeat the oil slick out of the corner of her eye and is glad when they turn their attention to the glowing ball. She renews her efforts in trying to hit the elusive "thing", but once again misses.

Cursing loudly in Elven, the first time any of you have heard her do so, she takes another swing at the glowing ball, screaming in frustration at her inabilty to hit the darting light.

Creasing her eyebrows at the lack of damage caused by her spell, Sabriel power her Rapier and moves to the side of the boat in the direction of the Glowing Light.

Not sure if it's close enough to take a swing at or not, so I'll give you rolls anyway.

Sabriel finally sees both the Glowing Light and the strange Oil Slick. Deciding at this point that the Light is the more dangerous because of it's mobility, she directs her gaze towards it and fires a fiery beam at it.

Sabreil is busy rubbing the sleep from her eyes and can't see anything yet.

Initiative. (1d20+2=13)
She quickly shakes off her lethargy and grabs her Rapier, preparing to summon forth an Eldritch Blast with her other hand.

Sabriel gathers up the necklaces How many?, looking them over and deciding that they look too common for her tastes, sticks, really. She offers them to the rest of the party though.
She also brings the arrows to the attention of Triska. "Those might be of use to you, they appear to be made from some kind of plant."

Sabriel uses Detect Magic on the Elves' bodies to determine if any of their equipment is magical and perhaps useful. She also checks the mutant gorilla as well just to make sure. [ooc]If she finds anything she will put it aside and (providing it is not excessive amounts of gear) will carry it back to the boat.
She helps the others relay the description of the attack making sure to interject with "dirty" and "smelly" a number of times when describing the Elves and their pet.

Sabriel looks down at her thigh and an audible sigh of relief can be heard as she sees that her dress is not ruined. Luckily the elf struck through one of the slits in it. She quickly bends over and rips a piece of cloth from the elf's clothes and wipes away the blood, holding it there to try and stop the bleeding.
Turning to the others she says, "can someone tell me what in the nine hells that was all about? Who were they, what is or rather was that, who are you and do you have any more of that healing?" She directs the last two comments at Tegid.

Seeing her companions being wounded spurs Sabriel on to finish off her opponent. She takes another swing, connecting solidly with the elf.

Invisible Castle is still down, so I rolled the old fashioned way. Hope you don't mind.
Attack Elf with MW Rapier. 1d20+3 (18+3) = 21
Confirm Critical Hit 1d20+3 (2+3) = 5
Damage. 1d6 (4) = 4

After her last success, Sabriel renews her attack with a smile on her face, slicing another small wound in the elf's bleeding torso.

Sabriel sees Fir come in to give her some much needed assistance with the elves and renews her attack.

After days of crappy IC rolls, I finally catch a break!!!
Her attack strikes home, opening up a nasty wound and making the elf cry out in pain.

She hears the roar of the ape but is too caught up in her press to pay it much attention.

Sabriel sees the two elves with bows drawn moving towards her and considers throwing another Eldritch Blast, before deciding against it rushing towards the nearest, drawing her rapier as she goes. She slashes out at him, hoping to get in close and make their bows useless, but the strike goes wide, slicing into one of the cloth walls.

Could I be any more stupid? Sabriel can Spider Climb...

Sabriel sees the man rushing down the bridge and braces herself to attack, but then sees him fire off a crossbow bolt at another elf at the end of the bridge. The elf ducks back into a building, so Sabriel spends a moment in contemplation and then hurries to the end of the roof, climbing easily down the outside and ducking into one of the Merchant Stalls so she has some cover.

* Activate Spider Climb Invocation.
* Move along the S line and down the side of the building, hiding in whichever stall she can make it too with her movement.

Back from camping and keen as Mustard!

Sabriel sees Fir take out the elf he is battling and then notices a newcomer down by the gate. He's not an elf like the other attackers, but that doesn't mean he's not with them. She nudges Triska and moves down the opposite end of the building closer to him, pulling out her Rod again as she goes the make sure if he attacks them she has a shot lined up.

Seeing Fir jump onto the roof, she thinks that would be a good idea to get a better vantage of the area. She dashes inside the bulding behind her to see if she can find some stairs to take her onto the roof.
Enters the Station House behind her, looking for some stairs leading up. She will double move if she has to so that she can reach the roof and be able to better see the battle unfolding and know where the enemies are.
Spot Check (to look for enemies). (1d20+2=9)

Sabriel sees Ur take down the man and moves over to the bear, hoping to get a better view of their other attacker and to check that the man is in fact dead.

Spoiler:

Go to Ur's position in the doorway [Move Action].
Bend down and check the body to make sure it's dead and look around to see where the other attacker is. [Standard Action].

Sabriel follows triska's lead and moves to the opposite corner from her (the corner of the Guardhouse) and raises both arms, throwing them towards the elf as a ray of fire shoots towards him.
Fiery Gaze (Ranged Touch Attack). (1d20+4=16) Depending on how close he is there may be another +1 to that roll if he is within 30'.
Fiery Gaze Damage. (4d6=10)

Sabriel sees the figure in the doorway fire at Fir and whips her Rod up, sending a blast of Arcane Energy coursing through it. It streaks out towards the figure and impacts into the door frame by his head.

Seeing Triska suddenly draw her weapons, Sabriel tries to hear what could be happening.
She turns towards the gate, racing over to Triska and drawing her Rod as she goes, she says "what's going on?"

Glancing at the well and turning up her nose, she walks slowly towards the gate to see what is happening on the bridge. Out of the corner of her eye she sees Larkspring heading towards the Storage Warehouse as he announces his intent to gather the arcophage.

Sabriel jumps down off the boat and looks up at the bridge, trying to spot signs of movement.

She then waits for the others to assemble and then sets off up the stairs towards the bridge.

Sabriel watches over Larkspring's shoulder for a few minutes, then gets bored and returns to sunning herself on the deck while watching the trees attentively for anything out of the ordinary.
She notices Faruq casting sideways glances at her and pulls her shoulder straps down a little, letting them hang to give her shoulders some sun, smiling mischievously to herself.

Sabriel gingerly reaches over and tries to open the backpack to see if it holds any clues as to what could have happened.

I have River into Darkness, so I am good for the Map.

Sabriel walks over to the side of the boat to get a look at what's coming towards them. When Faruq calls for grappling hooks, she looks around at the others and heads off to grab the ropes. She hands one to Triska, one to Orelan and one to Larkspring, then walks over to stand next to Faruq and watch the others haul in the Barge(?).

"I am most certainly up for some refreshments."
Sabriel eyes the cool water. "Are there any dangers in the water? Is it possible to go for a dip in the river or are there not very pleasant things lurking under there?"

Eyeing her Rapier laying on the Deck, Sabriel quickly decides it would be wiser to try and blast the annoying snakes with an Eldritch Blast. She punches her hand in the direction of the nearest Viper and a Blast leaps from her fist to strike the snake, shooting it into the air.

Eldritch Blast Damage. (2d6=3)

Sabriel clears her thoughts and directs her gaze at the same small creature, pointing at it dramatically as a beam of fire lances out to strike it squarely in the chest.

Sabriel rolls suddenly as she sees some kind of green ape come rocketing down from the canopy above. She ends the roll on her feet and immediately fires off a Blast of Eldritch Essence at the diminuative creature. She curses at it soars harmlessly over it's head, the result of her roll and hasty shot.

Sabriel is enjoying her time in the Blazing Sun, and much to the chagrin of her companions seems to suffer no ill effects from the abysmal heat. Even thoughshe appears to be doing nothing more than bathing in the sun, she is still very alert for possible dangers from the fetid jungle surrounding them.

Sabriel heads down to where Larkspring is shouting and gives a whistle as she sees the wreck. She heads up to the Pilot House to make sure that the Captain is aware of the other boat, in case he wishes to stop for a look and then heads off to make sure Faruq knows of it also. She teases him as she walks off to lead him to Larkspring, by putting a little extra swing into her hips.
Once everyone knows of the Lady Fortune, she waits to see what Captain Esteban's orders are.

The hot morning brings Sabriel slowly awake. She remains drowsy until she has had some food. Once fed, she changes into the shorter of her dresses, one which barely comes down to mid thigh and puts on her sandals and Bracers. Keeping her Rod and Rapier close by, she heads up top to recline on the deck, basking in the morning sun and keeping a watch on both sides of the river banks.

Ahhh,a spot of High Fantasy Sun Baking... what better way to pass the trip. =)

Sabriel pops her head through the door of the cabin and says to Triska, "Triska dear, I hate to be a pain but we could really use your help throwing this thing over the side. I am as keen to return to bed as you are", she indicates her sodden night gown, which is clinging to her body. "Just a few minutes is all it will take and then I will be in as well."
A sudden thought strikes her and a panicked look appears on her face. "Oh dear, I hope this doesn't mean that I will be forced to do menial labour now that the boat is down three crew."

Smiling at the mention of a bonus (and at the conclusion of the battle), Sabriel heads back down to the main deck, where she heads over to inspect the dead creature laying near the cabin.
"Ugh, what manner of foul creature is this," she says, using her Rod to poke around the remains. "It's skin is like rock. It almost looks like some kind of Gargoyle, but look at the gills here. Whatever it is, I am glad it is dead. And it's companion too."
Getting up and looking around the deck, she asks, ""so has anyone seen any of the crew?"

"Quickly man, there are creatures attacking the boat. We are battling them at the moment, but before we were attacked in the sleeping quarters we heard a splash and think that at least one of the crew may be overboard."
That said, she dashes back over to the railing to survey the battlefield that used to be the deck.
