This is great news! John is the best GM I have ever played with and if he brings that enthusiasm to PFS as a whole, then we are all in for some excitement!

My highlight was the group from Kentucky whom I dubbed "Delta Force", they ran through the special with extreme efficiency as a 4 man team. I was told to take it easy on them initially because they were a 4 man team. I stopped taking it easy about half-way through, and they only lost one man, and that was due to a really bad tactical decision to save gold.

They walked out with the "freebie" artifact though.

Oh, it was especially hilarious when I turned to the 2 VC's when things turned south for them, and I go "VC Survey on mercy says?" They both turned their thumbs down. Lots of energy at that moment. :P

As the wizard of "Delta Force", I would like to thank you Daniel for running a really fun table. And that scenario required some quick tactical decisions that we fell short on. It was good practice for our group for the GenCon Special I hope! Thanks to all the GM's who made Winter Fantasy lots of fun.

I have a small group of gamers and we are looking for some new recruits. We normally play once a week in Burkesville Kentucky. If you are in the area or don't mind a drive we've got a good game going.

I have used this familiar (Fluffy) to great effect all weekend with my own wizard. I've given her a wands of cure light, magic missile, protection from evil, and silent image. I also bought two level two wands that I will now swear by: Invisibility and Scorching Ray. Her ranged touch with the SR is high enough to hit most targets and if its too high then back to the Missile. And everyone loves to be invisible now and again. I also got her a handy haversack to carry them all around in. She also saved two of my companions when she cast breath of life from a scroll after I was feeble-minded.

BTW, how did you get the +8 racial bonus to UMD? I do not see where that one came from.

Congrats! John ran the second special for us on Saturday and killed the whole party and I still think he's one of the best GM's I've had the privilege to play with.

It looks like a good app. Would it be possible to add conditions to players and npc's such as "staggered" or "prone". Also is there a way to add damage to more than one enemy at a time like with an area effect spell?

I'm looking forward to the update so I can add my own creations to the list.

That is a great map. It looks like they have stretched their kingdom to the limit. One good military incursion and its going to be a bad day. Thanks for posting these and giving us an idea what CC can do for a game.

I'd love to do this for my Kingmaker Campaign since my group is really getting into the Kingdom building aspects of the game. Also since Paizo probably won't give us more maps west of the River Kingdoms for a while, I'd like to give my players a more than just a scrawl of a map with Castrovin Sea that way.

Looking at the buy in price of $600+ for all the updates and stuff is a little concerning. Can what you created be accomplished with just the basic program, or do you need all the updates and add-ons? What do you suggest I start with. I'm a graphic designer by trade so vector art is nothing scary to me.

These maps are great and make me want to try my hand at CC. Can you estimate how much time you've invested in these maps and do you use them to show your players their kingdom borders in-game?
