Male Human Monk 3

Will save... 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18

Male Human Monk 3

Losing his patience with the slippery, wiggling spellcaster, Kenzo resolves to knock her out with his fists this time.

Flurry of blows...
Attack #1... 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17
Damage (nonlethal only)... 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Attack #2... 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Damage (nonlethal only)... 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

I'm not sure, but if Gyorgy's aid another action was to improve Kenzo's chances to hit, that probably bumps up each attack roll by another +2...but damage will remain the same.

Male Human Monk 3

With his hold on the woman renewed, Kenzo once again applies pressure to choke her into unconsciousness.

Grapple check to inflict nonlethal damage... 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Damage roll... 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Male Human Monk 3

Kenzo slips past Gyorgy and the table to close on the wizardess before she can get off another spell. Once he gets within range, he launches a vicious punch straight for her face.

Unarmed attack with Stunning Fist (Fortitiude save vs. DC 13 to avoid being stunned for 1 round)...
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
Unarmed damage, if applicable... 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Kenzo: Initiative - ?

To recap: Kenzo enters the room but doesn't see an opening for an attack...

Would it be possible for Kenzo to "squeeze" past his allies and/or Tumble to Gyorgy's aid?

Male Human Monk 3

Kenzo presses through the doorway behind Eugen and steps over the slain dog's remains to attack another.

Melee attack with longsword... 1d20+3 = 10 to hit

But the savagery exhibited by his fellow companions keeps the next dog a little more cautious and Kenzo can't quite seem to pin it down.

Male Human Monk 3

Kenzo moves in on the goblin chieftain, his longsword leading the way.

Attack with longsword... 1d20+3 = 20 to hit
Damage... 1d8+1 = 5 hp

"For Sandpoint!" he cries, trying to rally everyone.

Male Human Monk 3

Sub-Kenzo is on standby. Let me know if you need him... ;-D

Male Human Monk 3

Kenzo continues to hold the line, but the sudden press of bodies makes it more difficult to find an opening.

Attack with longsword... 1d20+3 = 7 to hit

Mitnal and Kenzo need to post actions.

I guess I'll keep subbing for Kenzo until Bill comes back.

With Jessa's dagger trick distracting his next opponent, Kenzo spins and whirls with his blade once again.

Attack with longsword... 1d20+3 = 22 to hit
Damage... 1d8+1 = 4 hp
Confirm critical threat... 1d20+3 = 21 to hit
Critical damage... 1d8+1 = 6 hp

Male Human Monk 3

Kenzo closes on the goblin dazed by Jessa, intent on punishing them all for what they did to Sandpoint.

Attack with longsword... 1d20+3 = 23 to hit
Confirm critical... 1d20+3 = 9 to hit
Damage... 1d8+1 = 9 hp

Male Human Monk 3

Kenzo races in alongside Eugen to present a united front against the attacking goblins.

Initiative check... 1d20+3 = 21
Attack with longsword... 1d20+3 = 19 to hit
Damage... 1d8+1 = 4 hp

DM Wicht wrote:
Just to be clear - what is Kenzo attacking? Eugen missed (as his initiative was first, I applied his miss to the animal attacking him) and then Mitnal laid low the goblin dog attacking Eugen...

I have no idea. I thought we still had a goblin dog left. Wasn't there one that was 'sleeping' or lying on the ground or something? If not, I suppose Kenzo sheathes his sword and prepares to defend or lead the group out of harm's way.

Male Human Monk 3

Kenzo swings once more to aid Eugen.

Attack with longsword... 1d20+3 = 14 to hit, 1d8+1 = 7 hp

Male Human Monk 3

Kenzo continues to hack with his sword at the dogs fighting Eugen and Mitnal.

Attack with longsword... 1d20+3 = 16 to hit, 1d8+1 = 2 hp

Male Human Monk 3

Kenzo surges forward to add his own blade to the fight, striking at the nearest goblin dog.

Attack with longsword... 1d20+3 = 17 to hit, 1d8+1 = 9 hp

The goblin then turns and flees towards the briars to the north, provoking attacks from Mitnal and Eugen.

And Kenzo as well? The monk has spent the past two rounds moving toward the goblin while hurling daggers. Was he unable to get within melee range due to Mitnal and Eugen crowding things?

DM Wicht wrote:
Not for this round. If someone wants to suggest an action for Kenzo, go ahead.

Kenzo hurls one more dagger as he continues to move through the entangled area so he can come alongside the fire-wielding goblin and support Mitnal.

Ranged attack w/ thrown dagger... 1d20+5 = 20 to hit
Damage... 1d4+1 = 3 hp

That's Kenzo's last dagger, I believe. He's now down to longsword and unarmed strikes.

Male Human Monk 3

Kenzo throws one of his daggers at the beast, following Jessa's advice to attack it from a distance before it can close on them.

Attack with thrown dagger... 1d20+5 = 12 to hit
Damage... 1d4+1 = 4 hp

Male Human Monk 3
DM Wicht wrote:
That leaves Kenzo, acting after Mitnal, and as I said, he can do a coup de gras. If he doesn't post, someone else feel free to roll the damage for him.

A coup de grace is an automatic hit and an automatic critical. So, given that Kenzo picked up the cold iron dagger that Mitnal dropped, that would result in...

Coup de grace damage... 1d4+1 = 4 hp base damage and 1d4+1 = 2 hp of critical damage
So, a total damage output of 6 hp...

The doors remain close, waiting for a brave volunteer to shove them open.

Heeding Jessa's request, Kenzo opens the doors as quietly as the ages-old iron will allow.

OOC: Thought I'd keep things moving in Bill's absence.

Kenzo is up. First person to post can post an action and roll for Kenzo. Don't forget the luck bonus.

Frustrated with the futility of striking the elusive creature, Kenzo focuses his ki and throws a desperate, straightforward punch.

Hopefully, I'm doing the math right. When I rolled the dice, I forgot to add the +2 for flanking...so I've added it in below.

Kenzo's stunning fist attack with luck bonus and flanking bonus... (1d20+2+1+2 = 22, 1d6+1 = 5 damage)

This is Kenzo's last remaining stunning fist attack for the day. If the blow lands, she'll need to make a DC 13 Fortitude save to avoid being stunned for 1 round.
