Take a bow!

The creature smiles at the stories, each in turn, engrossed in the tales of the ancient gods and heavenly bodies. Soon, the dragon has edged forward, onto the ship itself, intent on hearing each through to the end.

As Reva finishes her story, a puff of foul air comes from the dragons snout from a quick snort

"You lot may be poor liars, but your payment in story has far exceeded any who have entered these waters. You are free to visit the wreckage, for whatever it is you seek. Go with my blessing."

He rears back and beats his wings. He speaks in a deep, ancient tongue as you are surrounded by arcane energies.

"That should aid in your search! Now I will take my leave!" With that, he lifts off the deck of the ship, sails billowing at the wind off his wings. He soars high into the air and then plumets- crashing into the ocean in a giant ball of spray and mist. The Magpie rolls with the waves for a few minutes until the seas once again settle.

Spell is water breathing, you each get 3 hours

Water Breathing:
The transmuted creatures can breathe water freely. Divide the duration evenly among all the creatures you touch. The spell does not make creatures unable to breathe air.

Ha. Ha. Ha. Go on, little one. Your story amuses me! Honor is certainly a fitting gift, though what use pirates such as yourself would have with such an object- I know not."p/b]

He settles back, with a smug look on his face.

[b]"Why do you look so surprised? Of course you are lying! Such is life here in the shackles- everyone always lying to everyone else. Why would I expect anything different simply because of my station?"

His ears perk up as Smacky speaks up, and he leaps forward again, lowering his massive face down to the Vanara's level

"Yes! Yes! Tell me a story or two! Adventure and intrigue!"

You can make any knowledge or perform check. You don't need to tell a whole RP story (unless you want to!), but do give a little bit to show how you are using that knowledge to produce an adventure story

The dragon leans back, shifting his weight even further out on bowsprit and the Magpie again rolling with the weight of the beast. His face seems to soften, though with the flattery and attention of the crew.

The Saber you say. It is in my waters, yes. Fools who thought that they could defeat me! Lord Kalizar" He chuckles to himself, now wearing a very smug smile.
"Though the ship has been 'explored' many times over. What is it that you creatures seek among its wreckage? What pages of paper could be so worth risking the scorn of the Master of the Atoll? Stolen from Taldor itself!"

He looks over each of the visible crew carefully, lingering on the shark for a moment before moving on to the Captain. His eyes pierce into you as you try not to blink.

Riy-Zi- could you make a bluff check, please

"So, what should be the price of said adventure. Of how much value are these documents to you, noble taldorans?"

Kelizar

The creature grows inpatient, shifting his weight on the front of the ship. A moment passes before the dragon lets out what seems like a heavy sigh.

"Captain Maczaren- Why is it that you enter the waters of Kelizar? Speak. Why should I spare your puny vessel of wood and cloth?"

You have several skill options, including diplomacy, knowledge history, knowledge nobility. The better you describe your characters mannerisms, words, or actions- the better chance you have of hitting some additional bonuses built into the scenario!

"Kes see on, kes julgeb suurt isandat Kalizari häirida"

Does anyone speak taldan?

The voice booms out over the ship, while the crew stagger back from the fearsome creature.

"My lady... what is in the scroll may I ask? You dont seem to comfortable handing it over - is it really because we might endanger someone's cover? I prefer to know all the facts before getting into the mess."

Lady Morilla attempts to calm her face. Taking a deep breath, she offers a level response to the dwarf- though apparently still flustered at having been read so easily.

"It is as simple as that. These are powerful allies, playing a dangerous game. I would be disheartened to lose such a unique opportunity for collaboration..." She pauses for a moment, as if considering her next words. "But still, loss of the scroll would still be preferable to losing an entire team of up and coming pathfinders."

Lady Morilla shifts in her seat before getting up. She slowly makes her way to bag, and pulls out two scrolls.

Handing the first scroll over to Rorrim she explains. ”This is a formal invite from Arch-Exarch Gregorius to access the Academy’s ‘rare books collection’. The entrance to the secret library can be found there; by studying Honor, Courage, and Glory.”

If you must, use this as a bargaining chip.” she says as she hands over the second (sealed) scroll to Lovissa.
“Nearly anyone you meet will look at you more favorably if you surrender this… but doing so would certainly risk our friend’s cover. I’m giving it to you because I trust your discretion in the matter.”

Sense Motive, DC 20:

Lady Morilla betrays a brief moment of hesitation and discomfort before mentioning an exchange of the scroll for freedom

"Lady Gloriana what exactly are we supposed to acquire in exchange for this opportunity?"

”That is the heart of it, isn’t it. I have little doubt that we’re performing some small piece of a larger political plan, even if we benefit from the service. Our benefactor is interested a series of documents that outline contingency lines of succession for the Taldoran throne. I believe their words were along the lines of ‘they will know it when they see it’

"The security you will be facing is befitting of a Library, and I will let you make of that what you will. While it is an academic institution, the Kitharodian Academy is also the home base of several adventuring minded groups and a bardic college. Weapons and such would not be an uncommon sight throughout the halls..."

She pauses for a moment to consider her pervious experiences

"Though, from my times in the academy, it is rare to see full adventuring gear among the patrons."

She unfurls the fan in her hand, and casually fans her face.

Lady Gloriana Morilla listens to you all with keen interest. She then turns to Venture-captain Muesello and speaks for the first time "You have asked a fine group to participate in this delicate mission."

Lady Morilla closes her eyes and hesitates a moment. The she snaps open a fan to fend off the room’s growing warmth.

“If something of note happens on Golarion, the Kitharodian scholars tend to hear about it. Muesello and I have selected you because the librarians are unlikely to recognize you and know you as Pathfinders.”

“Historically, Taldor is the authority on massive military campaigns, but most texts have undergone extensive revision to serve some political agenda or another. Entering this hidden archive is an excellent opportunity to learn from the real mistakes of the past and apply those lessons to the Mendevian Crusade."

She pauses for a moment.

“Remember that you have permission to be in the academy’s library, but not in this secret archive, so do everything you can to avoid being noticed while exploring. In fact, the fewer clues you leave of your passage, the better. Specifically do not steal or destroy any of the library’s contents. A few slip-ups might alert the authorities that someone has been poking around, and too many with give them enough evidence to trace this act to us.”

She looks at Muesello and he opens a drawer in the table and begins pulling out a couple small parcels wrapped in cloth.

“Any questions?” she asks.
