Greetings, fellow travelers. Ok, so there are no heraldic issues discussed in the GttRK. The only thing I found about Mivon was, that they do not have a common heraldic symbol, but rather every house has its own colours (doesn't make it easier though).

Greetings, fellow travelers. Thanks for the ideas. Didn't think about the stoneshape spell - thanks, Sect. But I think, I will go for some role-playing and in-party-arguing with this poor, old man :-) Well, *constant* scanning was an exaggeration, but he does scan every person they meet before deciding on actions, which starts to annoy me. And area scanning will start, when they start exploring on horse back.
Anyways, thanks for the cool ideas. Ruyan.

The Spoiler-clicky-thingy doesn't open up, when I click it. Others on the board work fine for me - is there a possibility to share your improved versions of the Champions? Ruyan.
Greetings, fellow travelers. I haven't found anything on Pathfinder Wiki concerning heraldry, but maybe there is something in the Guide to the River Kingdoms by Paizo? Unfortunately, I am away from my books, but could have a look at the guide tonight. Shouldn't Restov's/Rostland's heraldic banner have some similarity to Taldor's (divided shield blue/green with a white lion under a golden crown). At least Sirian First (later named Sirian Aldori) was a noble from that nation (same goes for the founders of Issia). A sword would definitely fit as well, though. Pitax needs a crown or something in my opinion. Grapes and a cup are also ringing my bell. Varnhold - founded by a band of mercenaries under the lead of one Maegar Varn...
Hm, I am somehow fixed on the crown as a symbol. Anyway, I will check my Guide to the River Kingdoms tonight and state a short message. Ruyan.
Greetings, fellow travelers. The problem with meld into stone is, as far as I understand it, that you remain really close to the surface of said stone. Now, my group has a paladin (should have stated that in my first post, sorry), who basically "scans" his surroundings with detect evil *all* the time - and he definitely will do so in the lair of the BBEG. And since detect spells are only blocked by 3ft of dirt or 1ft of stone, I think I will not get away with Nugrah hiding inside the walls. ALso, just for the record, Nugrah will have lvl 7 in my game - so reincarnate is possible for him to cast. Hm, maybe just play on the "I am an old, broken, decrepit, abused man, who has been held prisoner here (who is evil, but none-the-less...)". Any other ideas? Ruyan.
Greetings, fellow travelers. I am just wondering, if you could tell me how Nugrah escaped. I am currently "re"designing the encounter with the Stag Lord and have been toying with the idea of having Nugrah reincarnate his dead son (to take revenge). My problem is that I cannot think of an elegant (satisfying) way of having Nugrah escape from his abode in the cellar. My group is quite industrious when it comes to making sure, nobody gets away alive (and looting, especially the paladin of Iomedae *sigh*). Also, my group will deliver the Stag Lord's body to Davik Nettle, so I have to think about a way to steal the body from the group, while they transport it to Nettle's crossing, but first things first. Greetings, fellow travelers. I just noticed, that there seems to be a consistent typo in #31, #32 and #33 concerning the river Gudrin/Gurdin.
Only a mere nuisance, but it got me rather confused. Ruyan.
Greetings, fellow travelers. I have never cared too much about Kesten, being only "another warrior-type NPC, filling the ranks", but your idea with letting him take over the trading post is nice and simple, WarColonel. This will give him a bit more significance... hm, interesting side plot options invade my mind *evil grin* Jhod spoiler:
Jhod is another thing completely. Since I want my campaign to have a more spooky and fey-ish feeling anyhow, I decided right after my first reading to make him a druid 10 and let him take over the Temple of the Elk after it is cleared (the fight against the guardian will not be done by the PCs either - the advanced fiendish dire bear would be too much for the PCs at that stage...). I've given him another background and made him a guardian of the land, being charged to secure this old gate (the pool at the temple site) between the Material and the First World to help keeping Nyrissa in check. Hopefully, I don't need to go along the deus ex machina path with him, since my Stolen Lands are a dangerous place. Ruyan.
Greetings, fellow travelers. I'm not sure if your comment was just that or a criticism or something completely different. Anyhow, if the ease of exploration bothers you, you could use disadvantageous weather conditions to slow exploration down somewhat (from the core rule book) without spoiling all the fun for a druid enjoying her new "power"level.

greetings, fellow travelers. i have the pleasure to run this encounter in two days' time - my players have done most of the planning, but actual combat will take place on wednesday. they, also, decided to close the gates and i agree with abraham spalding.

greetings, fellow travelers. when i read your post athas from ad&d aka darksun campaign setting comes to my mind - maybe you could dig the net for further information. darksun is a brutal setting without divine/godly guidance. clerics (as per the rules) exist, but worship one of the four elements (athas is a desert world btw).

greetings, fellow travelers. the ac is not an animal as per the rules/mechanics anymore. though i doubt it can ever start talking - sticking to your lion - it has been stated and debated quite often, that raising its int to 3 is possible (see tm's guide on druids, e. g.) - and removes the necessity to rely on handling animal tricks for getting it to do what you want, because it then understands verbal commands. ruyan |
