Background Info: Using Races of the Wild as a reference for some things
Created in a Lab of some sort, she was the product of a project that was terminated and records when it was raided.
The raid killed all those involved with the project and the lab was torched.
Rune's containment vessel was not damaged in the raid and when a team investigated the lab they found her vessel and another one.
The team found her containment vessel and the other and brought them back with them to the head of their organisation, which also happened to be financed and controlled by a noble house that was altruistic and cared for the commoner.

When her containment vessel was opened they were surprised to find a infant inside alive.
She looked like a normal elven infant, but they noticed a few oddities about her.
Which were confirmed with the few surviving papers they also found in the torched lab.

They also then opened the other and found a infant boy inside who was also a live.

When the notes made references to some of the genetic samples used to make her and him,
the Paladin in the team forced a debate on what to do as there was moral and ethical questions.
Which lead to the vote to spare the infants for now.

As they read more and realised they picked up potentially powerful tools for their organisation and noble house.
Though some of the notes raised something of concern, about her and him becoming not only tricky powerful, but also very evil.
To counter the threat of her becoming evil the Noble head of the organisation called in a favor of a alchemist friend.
That friend made a special infusion that when inibled would for it's drinker to have a good alignment,
and since they were an infants the shock to her mental and spiritual state would be nearly zero.

There was also some debate on how they were gonna be raised.
Some of the women on the team vouched that they get some experience as a normal children.
Others voted for an isolated training program and to keep them secret.
It took time and a good debate, but it was settled on them getting special training but also some normal experience.
But they were also to be under observation for a good while.

They decide one naming her using some of the works on her containment vessel as they did for the other.
Her full name became Rune de Oblivion van Ruin.
His full name became Duncan de Armageddon von Demise.

For their infantancy they were raised by a human woman or two, and when they were old enough handed over to their teachers.

Her teacher was an middle aged elven man, that drilled in various types of training into her.
She got some training from some human and half-elven woman that were also in the organisation.

As Rune matured, the recovered notes stated in theory how she'd develop and how her abilties would manifest.
She'd become the shadow that eliminated threats, while Duncan would be the more visible one fighting in combat.

At the age of 24 she was physically an adult, but mentally a teenager most of her natural abilities had manifested, including her ability to shape change.
She had two forms she could easily change into and out of, but she could only do a different form once a day though could maintain it for as long as she didn't shape change.
Over the next 100 years Rune was trained in multiple jobs so she could blend in from Barmaid, to Maid, Farmer, Wet nurse, Mid wife, Cook, Seamstress, and more.
While also executing jobs from the organisation, mainly intelligence and assassination.

Currently she's tasked with a job of investiagating Undermountain and if there is something going a foot there.
Her assigned cover is that of an adventurer, it would give her freedom to investigate things and check the Dungeon without raising an eyebrow.
Though if she finds people in power that are corrupt and or abose their athority, she is to eliminate them.

Complexes/Fears/Quirks:

While she has a different path in life, there are times she wishs she had a more normal life and not one that is in the shadows as much.

She can be a bit of a shop-o-holic when there are sales on for clothes. More so if she can get a great deal on armour or armour parts.
