if I have a surpise action I will attack one of the spiders Attack (1d20+1=20)
Eric Zylstra wrote: Rumil, I think that the new avatar is more forbidding, but cool. What made you decide to change? Was much more like what I was looking for when I first made the character. The original one I settled on cause it was the closet I could find to what I imagined Rumil to look like as well it was one of the few good looking elf pics at the time. When I saw this new one I couldn't pass it up, I liked it a lot more.
Rumil pulls out key and shows it to Arius "Not sure what it goes to but I found it on Hookshanks. Mayhaps we should search Yargin and Gigggles here make sure they don't have similar keys, or better yet we could interrogate yargin. Serving the double purpose of finding out what we are up against and finding out what this key goes to. What do you think?"
Rumil attacks the half-orc

Rumil attacks the half-orc you know I am starting to hate invisible castle.... and in case we need to roll it again here is my initiative (1d20+5=25) did I tell you guys how much I hated invisible castle...why couldn't that have been the first roll.....
is the sound of something heavy shattering wood the door? if not then Rumil opens the door at the top of the stairs to A8 and seeing the banister slides down all the while taking in the scene and trying to spot the source of the screaming/yelling/breaking of wood Once on the ground Rumil levels his thinblade at the source of the yelling "Lets play." Rumil says to the yelling man
Rumil wrote: My big question is who are we waiting for in terms of turns for initiative? cause it seems everyone has gone now if so then Rumil moves over and coup de grace hookshanks what needs to be rolled for that? Better question is do I roll the damage as normal or do I need to roll for the crit deck? as coup de grace auto hit and auto crit
sneak attack the sellsword
initiative for next room if we need to roll it.
Rumil nods to Rags, pulls his hood on his cloak over his head and leans against wall beside his door with his thinblade at the ready, turns the door knob and opens the door. Rumil then moves into the next room along the right wall 10ft as silent and as much in the shadows as possible.Stealth Check (1d20+9=29)
As I asked in the pbp thread which way should we proceed? It would seem that if we go through my door we would be in an encounter pretty quickly....my only idea so far would be for me to open the door and try and draw them into the main room so that the whole party could get at them and/or Arius could sleep them.
Rumil motion to the party to hold up at the front entrance. Rumil moves silently (1d20+9=10) past the desk to the door that he heard the man speaking from listens at the door to see if anyone is coming towards the main room. perception check (1d20+7=10). Rumil motion to Rags to check the other door on the other side of the room.
Initiative v Dog (1d20+5=20)
also it doesn't matter to me which way we do initiative
Rumil stands there staring at the young boy as Rags talks to him utterly shocked by what has just happened while at the same time happy he still has his money pouch. After a second Rumil snaps out of it and looks around the street to see if more "street urchins" or Lamm's thugs are coming this way "Perhaps My dear Rags we should move this discussion out from in front of the building... if one Little Lamm has returned then the rest of the flock is can't be far behind."
Rumil waits a minute for Rags to cross the street and slip into the shadows before he himself crosses the street as nonchalantly as possible. All the while keeping his eyes and ears peeled for any guards, traps or dogs. When he gets to the warehouse he slips into the shadows and moves in the opposite direction rags went same here Cap, not sure what to roll or if your rolling for hide/move silenty and my spots and listens

I have my tools, my knives, and my sap I'm ready." Rags says " I do not worry that they will recognize me they think I'm dead. It's been three years and believe it or not but I look a lot healthier then I was back then. To tell the truth I hope they do recognize me right before I send them to meet their gods." he winks at Ox as he hops up. " So are we going. I am sure we can bypass any locks or traps. I think we should at least scout the layout and see what we are up against."Rags continues as he makes his way to the door. Rumil nods "At the very least we will need to do some recon, Rags. On the way I need to stop and buy a sap unless anyone thinks it doesn't matter? I can do without if need be..." Rumils says as he stands up and heads for the door with Rags
Rumil nods "The children will not be hurt. I think Rags and myself could easily scout this place out however my only worry would be that they might recognize you Rags. If that is the case then maybe Lady Anju and myself would be a better idea or even just myself. I would have to aquire a sap or the like all I have are these." Rumil motions to his pair of elven swords. "Thats pretty easily remedied. I think Ox is right we need to go as soon as possible. We don't need Lamm finding out anyone is coming for him we need to catch Lamm by surpised."
Branahm wrote: "There is another thing to consider, when we go to confront the rat in his lair. Lamm's preference for making children into his thieves means we will need to be prepared to exercise restraint in the force we use. Our lust for revenge cannot overwhelm our sympathy for his current victims. " "Aye, we must be careful...perhaps we may be able to get them help us...I am sure they won't exactly love Lamm either..."
Rumil nods in agreement with Arius assessment of the Lamm question. "I don't think Lamm deserves mercy anymore for his crimes....any mercy he was deserved he lost long ago when he made addicts and thieves out of the good people of Korvosa. Lamm is the vile rot, that brings down all that is beautiful and wonderful about this fair city we call home. For this alone he deserves the fate that we hand him at the tip of a sword...and I for one intend to see him bleeding on my blade."
