Thanks for running the game! :-)

Well done everyone! The Venture-Captain says as he skeptically eyes the blue dwarf entering his office.

That made me chuckle ;-)

"Is every mission just as dangerous? Seems like the life of a Pathfinder is full of danger and excitement, even when they barely leave home1"

@Qillian: The circles with letters were the starting positions of our foes; the actual icons (that aren't PCs) are the remaining foes.

That said, I think Shonne should have an AoO with her longsword when Larkin stands up.

@GM Tyranius: Heh. I'll do my best ;-)

Rudolph shucks his shield, two-hands his morningstar, and steps forward menacingly, taking a brutal swing with his gore-covered morningstar at Larkin.

Morningstar: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 4 + 1 = 18, for 1d8 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 7 + 1 = 12 damage.

Miss Chance (High = Hit): 1d100 ⇒ 61.

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

Heh. Give me a chance, and I will see what I can do ;-)

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

Morningstar, AoO: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 4 + 1 = 25, for 1d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 1 = 7 damage.

Crit Confirmation: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 4 + 1 = 16, for 1d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 4 + 1 = 10 *ADDITIONAL* damage.

Rudolph winces as his morningstar slams into the side of the halfling's head, dealing a telling blow.

"Actually, I think we *can* take you just fine..."

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

So not apologising for that ;-)

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

Rudolph steps forward, and takes a swing at the woman.

Morningstar: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24, for 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12 damage.

Crit Confirmation: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19, for 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 *ADDITIONAL* damage.

Miss Chance (High = Hit): 1d100 ⇒ 87.

BOOM! :-)

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

Oh come on, what could possibly go wrong? ;-)

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

Surprise Round:

Rudolph confidently moves forward.

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

Rudolph breathes a sigh of relief when the creature goes down.

"Well then! Looks like our job is done - time to go back to the Lodge..."

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

Rudolph hustles into the room.

Double move.

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

Shonne, I believe we are waiting for you... and you did beat the devil on initiative ;-)

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

"Well, if no-one else wants it, I'll take the letter-opener... what exactly would you define as 'nothing big'...?"

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

"Right. Let's get going! Only one more task to do, and then we can call it a day..."

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

Rudolph smiles at Io's unintentional over-use of make-up.

"Look on the bright side; at least you make-over is (probably) only temporary!"

He then turns to Shonne, and shakes his head.

"I am afraid that that is not a wand that I can use..."

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

Appraise: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (13) + 0 = 13.

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11.

"Huh?"

Rudolph looks around frantically for a moment, before realising what Shonne is pointing out. He then drags the table over to the wall, and jumps up on it, using his 10' pole to retrieve the key.

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

"Well, that was disappointing... Let's see what is in the basket..."

Rudolph then pulls out a 10' pole, and, from the other side of the room, gingerly flips the wicker basket over.

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

Rudolph nods.

"Agreed. It is a test - let's see what it involves..."

He then cautiously heads through the door.

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

I'll assume this discussion happens after we leave the building, and not in front of the old woman ;-)

"Agreed. Head back to let her know our findings, then move on to the next task."

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

"Just a small nip in my tea, thank-you."

As the 'morning tea' progresses, Rudolph innocently enquires:

"It must be nerve racking managing all of these children by yourself. Is that part of the reason why you send them off into town during the day? I hope that they are doing something productive; idle hands can get up to all sorts of mischief..."

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

Heal: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20.

"Are you okay, my lady? You seem a little ill..."

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

"Still, I wonder what they get up to..."

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7.

Nope. Nothing to see here ;-)

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

Rudolph will take the bags of powder, and the remaining alchemist's fire.

Rudolph clears his throat when the party prepares to approach the residence.

"Before we head straight for the front door, perhaps we should ask around to see what is known about the woman?"

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

"Well, that was simple... now we just have to work out how to move a crate..."

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

Rudolph nods.

"Having a contingency plan is always a wise option. Anyone know how to operate the crane?"

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

Rudolph looks at the layout thoughtfully.

"If the crane can pick up the crate, why lower it into the boat? We can just transfer it to somewhere else in the warehouse, without risking dropping in the bay..."

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

"Let's at least take a look at the door..."

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

Just use the third picture from the end on the right. :-)

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

Hey, as far as Rudolph is concerned, you all look young, even if your chronological age is technically older than his ;-)

"Sounds utterly enthralling," Rudolph says with a dead-pan expression.

He then turns to the others.

"Shall we start from the top, and work out way down, or is there another order people would prefer to do things in?"

Grand Lodge

Male Human DEAD

A bespectacled, middle-aged gentleman wanders into the room, looking slightly puzzled.

"Oh! I wasn't expecting the rest of you to be quite so young. Ah well. Eager to learn, I hope?"

Dotting for fun and profit ;-)
