Royken scowls furiously as the Grand Duchess unveils the statue of the four of them. The cheering crowds might as well have been shieldmarshals throwing them in prison for as happy as he sees. Afterward, he glowers as he watches Lora lap up the attention. His attention shifts to some idiot coming up to talk to him. "No!" he barks before the man can get more than a word out. As if he'd want to talk to him.
The next days and weeks aren't even better. "No." "No." "F!**, no," he constantly growls as people come up to fawn over him. F@+#, he can't even get work. He reaches out to Crystal Crownsilver to see if she's willing to set something up -- she managed to get out from under the duchess' thumb, somehow -- but even that ends up turning up s&**. They had a good plan, a way to get some nice gold ... and the f$*#ing twits decided that he should just have the f+~!ing gold when he pulled a gun on them. Like he was some f&+!ing grandpa who needed his charity. F&~*, no! He wanted to rob them, the way he'd grown up doing. Turns out Foebe f+$@ing Dunsmith had put out the word too. The shieldmarshals weren't to f+~+ with him. They just let him walk away. He'd gone and yelled at her ... and she'd just laughed. What the f*$& was a good, honest con supposed to do?
Living in the city was becoming impossible. Royken sat and stewed for a while, and finally screwed up his courage. Only one f~**ing thing to do. It was time to get out of here! He arranged a meet, with Lora -- no, not anywhere that anyone would f!$$ing recognize them. This wasn't f*@%ing easy, and wasn't anything he needed blabbed around the f%!@ing city for every f~@%ing one to f&+@ing know...
A few days later, a burly dwarf rides out of town. His black hair -- showing just a touch of silver -- is cropped close, as is his beard. His plate mail is packed away, though the massive scattergun attached to the back is still enough of a threat for anyone who doesn't recognize his face. He's not lucky enough that no one does, though. If they had, maybe they'd have tried something and he could have gotten a workout. But f&%+ no...
He leaves Alkenstar. He thought about heading for Highhelm -- his niece is there, and it sounds like it's not awful, a place a proper con could earn some nice gold -- but ... something's keeping him close. He tries to figure out what as he gets close to the ranch outside town. "Droskar's dick!"[/b] he curses as he dismounts and goes to knock on the door. He glowers as the dwarven woman who caused so much trouble for him finally answers. F@@*, he'd thought with his luck she might not be home, but no getting away from this.
"Fancy a f$%@ing drink?" he asks Foebe.

Royken gives a nod of appreciation to Bleach for the help as he looks over the crumpled and shattered wizard. "Told you," he growls.
Then he turns a bloody grin of menace toward Loveless, and charges into the battle, battering her with his gun.

Oof. I could use some healing now, please!
Royken snarls, ignoring the glass shards. "Didn't you hear her? You've got about 12 f%!$ing seconds left to live. At most!"
He then proceeds to beat the s$$& out of the wizard.

"Keep your hands off your guns!" Royken growls at Loveless. He thinks about saying they don't want to fight, but that's not particularly true. Sure, he wants to ruin her, but killing her would get the job done too.
I feel like a fight's probably inevitable here, but holding off in case someone else has another idea.
HP: 160 | AC: 28 | F: +21 (juggernaut); R: +19; W: +17 (bravery) | Perception +16 || Male Dwarf Fighter 10
Royken tries not to scowl. Finally, they're going to deal with Loveless, and then he can hopefully get out from under Foebe's thumb. Though that prospect isn't quite as appealing as it may have been when they first met.
No preparations to make.

"We're not looking to fight, just talk," Royken grouses. Which is lucky for you, snakehead...
He lets Lora do that, however.

"We already f!@@ing look like we belong here," Royken says. "Let's just f#*@ing act like it."
I say we try to go in using our current disguises. So Lora's second suggestion.

Royken growls, "Or we just go to the Nexian quarters, kick in the door, get the key from the f#&*ing snakes-for-hair, go unlock whatever it's locking, get the bomb, get Loveless, and get the f&$+ out of here!"
OOC, I think doing a little snooping makes sense. Royken just has no patience for that! :D

Even though he's not actually wearing anything but his now-usual plate mail, Royken can't help tugging at his collar, as the illusionary troglodyte-suit seems to tighten around his throat. He tries not to glower as he boards, but fails miserably.

My problem with being staff is it means I'm not wearing my armor, and I'm not sure there's an easy way to get it on board and make sure we'll have time to get it on. (I'm still wearing plate mail.)

Royken growls in assent, thinking Eva's got the right plan. Then he scowls at Lora.
"Don't think you're f%@+ing dressing me up in a doppelganger suit," he mutters. "We're going in with the cargo!"

"F!*& me!" Royken says. He'd hoped they'd be able to finally put an end to this here and now, but no such luck. He looks at the others. "I don't know how we're going to catch up to her, but I'm not letting her f~~!ing blow up my city!"

Royken growls, but nods. "Daemonic hell. F&@#ing fight for nothing, then," he agrees.
Still, he wasn't sure he could take much more of it, so he's not truly that upset at the surrender.

Nice! Eva, we should switch targets!
Also looking much worse for the wear, Royken rushes to help Eva, hoping they can finish off this necromancer before becoming his latest subjects.
"Give it up or you're going to end up deader than this f$!~ing brain thing," he growls. He charges over, slamming his gun into Parsus.

Crit? You knock the target away from you up to 10 feet (you choose the distance). This is forced movement. (That said, to avoid retconning, let's not worry about this if it was a crit.)
"Stay down," Royken growls, laying about him with his gun.

If you hit a target that is your size or smaller, that creature is flat-footed until the end of your current turn, and you can automatically Shove it, with the same benefits as the Shove action (including the critical success effect, if your Strike was a critical hit). If you move to follow the target, your movement doesn't trigger reactions.

Royken grunts, and takes one of the energy mutagens, though he holds off on drinking it for the moment. "We can just f~#$ing go around it," he growls. Seems like something we can avoid entirely. Unless we want to try to dilute it to see if there's anything else here and/or bottle some as weapons.

He glances at the woman. "The f!!#ing undead should go down there if they want to be safe from us," he growls in return. "Who are you and how long have you been down there?"
