Background:
Rowan was raised in the city of Absalom by his human father. His father is a recently retired Pathfinder and cousin of the current master of arms for the Pathfinder Society, and his mother is a wild elf from the Mwangi Expanse which his father explored for nearly ten years. Upon reassignment to the city of Absalom, his mother asked his father to take him with him to the city, as she could not bear to see him age and die before she had even passed her middle years.
Rowan spent much of his youth reading the various Pathfinder Chronicles, and studying the history books in the libraries of the society, while his father worked. He learned several languages, and continues to study language whenever time permits, as language comes easy to him. While language was an inherent gift, he found he had a knack for mechanics, and truly enjoyed solving the various training puzzles in the academy, and has become quite well renowned for his ability to disarm traps of all sorts.
Rowan has decided to take up the mantle of a Pathfinder in honor of his father, and his “uncle” Marcos. Adventure awaits.
