My campaign is at the beginning of Chapter Four.

One of my players has been playing a priest of Wee Jas.

With the suggestion of the Hardcover that some sort of "underground" movement could be started in the temple, drawing the player character in, I have gotten the PC together with Calmus Vel to have a talk.

But what should be revealed at this point? I can see this sort of thing bringing the game to a complete halt as the group swings their focus on just cleaning out the temple right away. The temple of Wee Jas has a strict heirarchy, meaning that this meeting between two low ranking members is a BIG DEAL, but how far to take it at this point?

Suggestions?

Having just started the campaign in the past few weeks, I can see the benifits to getting the group to interact with as many people in town as you can get them in front of. You as the DM want them to feel attachments to the city. Having the Local Heros traits was a great first step for my group.

But is it enough later on as things begin to happen? I don't want to post any spoilers, but have skimmed ahead and seen what was coming.

Question: Do I need to be thinking about extra motivations for the group to continue the adventure after awhile?

This is exciting. After many years of having the SCAP on the shelf and running other material (including a DM change) we are getting started.
I have been perusing the material that has been posted here on Paizo and looking at some of the other things out there and am really impressed. I have a few questions that I have not seen answered, but would love to have a few people post about. I'll limit my questions to two for now, one of which I'll post here and another I'll start a new thread for.

First question: Does the newsletter work?

I have seen several versions of it and LOVE the concept.
