male Half-orc(Appears human) Monk/1st

Looking long and hard at the lifeless criminal, he pays no heed to Jean-Paul's words at first until he produces the letter. Reading the crumpled paper, He nodded simply and added "The best Defense is a good Offense, and I'm tired of waiting to be attacked."

Turning swiftly he stopped in front of Zareby and stood silent, looking back and forth between The man's face and his side. He has a questioning look on his face, but no words find their way past his clenched canines.

Apathy

Spoiler:
IC is fickle and I usually roll quite a bit before actually setting down to roll something in-game as I feel it gets the kinks out of the Dice-roller. However-I can completely understand if you have a hard time believing that as I likely would as a DM as well. From this point on, I'll do my pre-game rolling under"Test" rather than my character name. I don't want to cause any problems =D

Rorsius knew Zareby would go getting himself in trouble. Spinning on his heel He rushed to the side of Jean Paul. Never much on words, he opted to let a strong left hook and elbow speak.

With the rest of the group, once there by their selves, Rorsius perks up a bit at the mention of Zincher."I like him." He mutters as he chomps on a bit of days old bread."Something in his eyes held a little more dignity than Saul." He stopped to think for a moment"No not dignity...rather a steel resolve." Resuming his chomping he said cooly"If Zincher was the man who was responsible for the note, It certainly wasn't a hollow threat, so keep your heads up."

Sorry about the recent silence. Graduation parties lasted about a week. haha =P

male Half-orc(Appears human) Monk/1st

Begrudgingly Rorsius releases his grip upon Zincher with a slight grunt. Something was different about this man. Zincher hadn't even trembled at his threats, and that was saying something. For a long time Rorsius held eye contact with the man as something seemed to lurk behind his eyes. No words were needed, he knew, for a man like Zincher surely understood a man like Rorsius-perhaps more than Rorsius cared to admit.

male Half-orc(Appears human) Monk/1st

"I suggest you keep those glove on unless you plan on assisting Jean Paul in the kitchen, Zareby. I don't tell you how to deal, Let me do my job.". He says briskly, a danger dancing in his eyes as he turns his attention to Zincher. "It's in the best interest of this establishment to detain suspicious characters such as yourself until this situation can be cleared up. It's in your best interest to comply. I won't ask twice." intimidate 1d20+7=24

Unphased by Zareby's motion, Rorsius talked while continuing on his course."Don't be naive Zareby, it's standard security Procedures." He said simply as he shook the hand off his shoulder with a shrug."I don't plan on roughing him up. If you've taken such a liking to him then you're welcome to keep him company. Maybe he'd like a drink from the bar first. Maybe a snack." The gravely voice said dryly

male Half-orc(Appears human) Monk/1st

Perhaps taking his cue from Narnel, Rorsius moved swiftly to the side of Zincher and clasped his arm"If You'll come with me Sir We try to keep our higher profile customers safe from these minor distractions." With that Rorsius usher's the man to the room used for interrogation swiftly if the man is willing, if not-Well the man probably doesn't want to consider any other options. Rorsius Glances up at Narnel and motions for him to join him.

Hey, making sure everyone knows i'm still alive. Sorry about the lack of posting Guys, real hectic week. This will likely be the last post I'll be able to post this weekend as well as I have some plans away from internet access this weekend. I should get back into the rhythm of things next week. Thanks for all of the patience guys.-MM

male Half-orc(Appears human) Monk/1st

Rorsius sleeps the best he can, tossing and turning with occasional outbursts and waking up in cold sweats. He had got used to the nightmares, in fact he embraced them-they strengthened him. He woke just as early if not earlier than the rest. Before heading down, he used the wash basin to wash his coarse hair and coarser, scarred upper body. When he went down, he sat off to his lonesome, content to observe the room for now, as he didn't seem to have any explicit orders. If a threat arose, he'd take care of it.

male Half-orc(Appears human) Monk/1st

"I'd never dream of it Casanova..." Rorsius replied dryly to the chelish fighter.

how many beds are in each room?

male Half-orc(Appears human) Monk/1st

Rorsius hardly gives a passing glance at the equipment before shoving his hands in his pockets and turning to the waitress."Lead the way."

male Half-orc(Appears human) Monk/1st

Frowning persistently, Rorsius finally stepped forward "I suppose I owe you an apology Saul." He said simply, despite his best intentions-still coming off as less than friendly. "I suppose I'd be best suited as a bouncer, as I don't imagine there's much call for a tailor here."

male Half-orc(Appears human) Monk/1st

Rorsius is pleasantly surprised to see Rashmi waiting and he gives a gentle nod."Thank you." Says the gravely voice. He grabs her hand quickly when she lays it upon his shoulder-as if it was some unexpected attacker, but instead of shifting his hips to throw the attacker over his shoulder, he realized it was Rashmi and turned to observe her hand."I did not expect these to be able to do what they did." He admitted before quickly releasing her hand from his grip as if he was suddenly aware of overstepping some barrier-His more than her own.

male Half-orc(Appears human) Monk/1st

Sullen at his mistake, Rorsius lets out a palpable sigh."Well then, if you'll excuse me I left some things in the Lavatory." He returns shortly after with his own cloths on and follows the group up, but stays to the rear.

"Narnel." He said in acknowledgment of his companion with a nod.His friend, if he was to believe the Elf's words. His unnerving eyes didn't move from the approaching bouncers

male Half-orc(Appears human) Monk/1st

Rorsius mumbled something under his breath before turning to Saul"Rorsius is my name Saul. I don't work for anyone, and certainly not these dogs." He said as he pushed on the Thug's carcass with his foot. "I would probably direct your goons here to their friend who still needs help." He said, lifting his hands in a disarming posture. "Because if you don't direct them away from me they'll be waking up in a few hours with headaches..." He warned calmly before looking one of the approaching employees dead in the eyes."If they're lucky."

"No! He screamed at himself in his head as he pulled his knee back, letting the lifeless body fall to the floor. "No, No, No!" he continued his barrage upon his psyche, though his scowling expression would never show it."Walked right into it! Stupid, stupid, stupid! Never surrender." He told himself, although the last two words came out as a gravely whisper so low that Rashmi was likely the only one to hear it besides himself. His eyes moved to the carcass, who's head was turned in an unnatural angle after he had shattered the neck with his strike. Slowly He lifted his outstretched finger to Saul, and his flickering eyes followed."I hope you remember what I told you when you were nearly pissing yourself back there Saul." He said, his voice almost too calm to be as menacing as it was.

Rorsius' brows perk up a bit at the effectiveness of Rashmi's attacks. He cant say he expected that from her. Not letting the girl distract him, he ducked low beneath the thug's strike to come up with a gut-busting knee to the man's abdomen. As the cur hunched over his knee in pain, Rorsius felt the man's wind leave him and delivered a viscous elbow to the back of the thug's head.

If there's no way for Rorsius to slip into the cashiers cage with Saul, he'll look around for someone who would have access such as a cashier, dealer, or guard who was by themselves, perhaps one taking a bathroom break?

Rorisius keeps enough distance as to not be noticed as he tails the worried man. stealth 1d20+6=21 He gives a glance towards Rashmi for a moment to make sure she was still there.

male Half-orc(Appears human) Monk/1st

Rorisus was shocked for half of a second at Rashmi's unwavering faith in his words as she moved gracefully toward the door. Was she trying to drive home her point about faith in people by showing her faith in him? He hardly had time to consider it. Conversely, the lack of faith in Narnel's words were not lost to him. He simply raised a brow and nodded. "If you don't know what else to do, tell the others to be alert." He instructed forcefully. Turning his eyes and mind from these distractions, He focused once more on Saul, and then to any of his possible escapes.

"Something's Wrong."He stated flatly, narrowing his eyes on Saul Vancaskerin. " The slime can hide it well but something is off. He's nervous, he keeps glancing at the door." Rorsius stands to his feet abruptly and watches the man's movements closely, determined not to lose him among the crowd.

male Half-orc(Appears human) Monk/1st

Feeling that the conversation was at a breaking point, Rorsius simply nodded and glanced over at Saul Vancaskerin. Something about him troubled him. Perhaps it was the fact that he was the one who had put together this whole nonsensical thing."Perhaps, I'm being paranoid?" He thought, but quickly pushed the thought from his hand, He focused on the square man's every word movement, looking for a deeper meaning or danger. Sense motive 1d20+6=26

He noticed the spark of anger. His veiled vileness told him to feed the fire, but he fought his instinct."I'm not lacking in faith in myself. I pride myself in being strong enough to overcome my tribulations. I am not downtrodden, nor am I biter. I am aware. I have seen the city's true face, and now it is afraid of me. I know there are good people. I find myself seated with one. I only think you're overestimating the amount of such individuals...Honestly, I'd love to be proved wrong. " It was more than he cared to say. Nearly immediately his body language blocked her out as he crossed his arms and slumped in his seat. How this girl was bringing out more self realization than he cared for.

male Half-orc(Appears human) Monk/1st

"Unlike you Rashmi,I hold no illusions about the goodness of man. I've seen the goodness of man first hand several times. Perpetrated the goodness of man more than i could ever forget."He was breathing heavier with his last few words, not comfortable divulging his past."I sincerely hope your unwavering faith doesnt send you eyes-wide-shut to your downfall."

male Half-orc(Appears human) Monk/1st

Rashmi's eyes held their hold on his own for only a moment." And it seems, Rashmi. That you lack experience." He said bluntly. "Spend some time in Riddleport and see how much faith you have left in humanity." There was a tinge of anger in the statement and his fangs unconscionably protruded slightly out of his lips.

male Half-orc(Appears human) Monk/1st

Rorsius smiles and lets his sight wonder off but his eyes snaps back as if offended at her last statement. "I'm having a hard time seeing who the people who do the good and right things are. They seem farther and farther between." He softens his expression." In any case, I dont plan on letting it catch me off gaurd"

male Half-orc(Appears human) Monk/1st

He smiles."I don't get along with most.He warned simply. Glancing about the floor to find the others. His eye's settle on Leux."Nor Do I make idle threats." Again he warned, just as simply before his eyes returned to Rashmi's. "Indeed this is the first thing I'd call pleasurable company i've had." He stated, that flicker in his eye dancing back. "Life's just peachy...save for whatever evil is heralded by the blot."

male Half-orc(Appears human) Monk/1st

"I don't take pleasure in much, I'm afraid." He frowned at this realization Rashmi had brought. He had always knew this, he supposed. But wounds kept in the dark always looked more grotesque when finally allowed to breath. Pleasure Wasn't very important to him." I like my coat." He told himself more than her and managed a slight smile." And i take pleasure in good company." He told her, although on some level, he knew that this was probably the best company he had had in his life, and surprisingly-That didn't sadden him in the least.

male Half-orc(Appears human) Monk/1st

"You're too kind."He replies. It almost sounds tinged with sarcasm, but it was not."I guess that's what we're all trying to do. Find a place." He observed, looking Rashmi over curiously."Though If my gut Isn't lying to me, I don't think I'll be overly fond of my new place once I get there. But I accept that risk."

male Half-orc(Appears human) Monk/1st

"I'm a tailor."He said begrudgingly."Though it isnt much of a living.I cant remember the last thing I sold. I made this though. I like it." He said dryly."It's better than what I used to be.

male Half-orc(Appears human) Monk/1st

Rorsius frowned surprisingly. His mind searching for a similar conversation. The ones he recalled discussed his worthlessness, or money owed to Bannagran, or as of late-how his stitching wasn't up to par. He didn't pity himself, it was just that he had never noticed how alone his life had been. He smiled to hide his thoughts. "It's a first in awhile for me too." he lied.

male Half-orc(Appears human) Monk/1st

He followed her words gladly, content that Rashmi had no inhibitions on discussing her outlook. He wasn't extremely open in discussing himself. He glanced unconsciously back and forth between her and the caged creature, still thrashing defiantly. Thinking it might be rude, he turned his shoulder as if to obstruct his view of the creature and gave all his focus to Rashmi."Then it is your trials that have shaped you into what you are today. Do not regret the path you have chosen." He says bluntly.

male Half-orc(Appears human) Monk/1st

He listens closely. Sincerely Intrigued."You picked one hell of a classroom." He said dryly glancing back out at the chaos of the floor. He felt a frown so he dis his best to erase it before he sent the wrong signal. "And what is it that you're learning, Rashmi?"

male Half-orc(Appears human) Monk/1st

He watches her closely, having trained himself for years to read people. Something about her gave him a bit of trouble in doing so, as if she had been trained to defeat such inquiries into her body language. He nodded at her response."Well I think they did indeed scoop this water from The River Styx." He said surely as if he believed it true, eying something floating within the cup. He pushed it aside and looked up again."What's someone like you doing in place like this Rashmi?" He asked, unapoligetic for his forwardness.

male Half-orc(Appears human) Monk/1st

"I try not to." He says calmly."In moderation." He explains, sipping from his water."I have seen first hand the changes it brings to people in excess. The sloths it makes of people in both body and mind." He was referring to his former employer at first, But when he locked eyes with her he couldn't help but once again think of his mother, and her drunken rage. He bit down hard on his lip to keep it from shaking, and had it not been toughened over years of him doing this, his fanged teeth would have cut it. He looked to her drink and raised a brow at succubi-adorned goblet." How's your...Mephistopheles Melon?" He asks dryly, secretly having a good time making up demon oriented juices.

male Half-orc(Appears human) Monk/1st

"Never apoligize Rashmi. My cerebral ramblings were in need of being cut short." Stated the gravely voice. He turned then to get the drinks, he asked for some kind of fruit juice and a water for himself and the horned bartender quickly gave him a cup he called something like Asmodeus Apple or Beelzebulb Berry or something of an equally gaudy sort and begrudgingly handed him a simple glass of water. "From The River Styx no doubt?" Rorsius inquired only to be met with a confused look. Rorsius paid for the drinks and turned to Rashmi with his best attempt at a polite smile before ushering her to a nearby table.

male Half-orc(Appears human) Monk/1st

Rorsius's eyes followed the lashing barbed tail of the purple creature in the cage. His Eyes watched closely the useless fluttering of wings and for a moment felt something that might best be described as pity for the miserable creature. Suddenly it's abyssal eyes contacted with His own. Rorsius wasn't scared or shocked. He was taken aback by how similar this hellish things eyes were to his own. He stumbled back a step before bumping into the bar. He glanced over at Rashmi for a long moment as if her words didn't make it to him."Drinks?" He asked. Then shook his head suddenly."No I insist I'll get them...what would you like?"
