Male Dwarf Cleric 1

I'm still checking in, but I think we're all just waiting for Relayer to respond. If it goes too much longer without a post, I think I'll have to be moving on.

Male Dwarf Cleric 1

On his turn, Roran will attack any skeleton that approaches (readies an attack for any skeleton that comes with in range) and then take another 5' step back down the hall if possible.

Attack (Warhammer): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15, Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 Well I think that's another miss for me.

"Come on skeletons, come join the party out in the hall."

Male Dwarf Cleric 1

Roran will attack a skeleton and then step back from the door way with a 5' step hoping to draw the skeletons out into the hallway.

"I'm going to step back in hopes to draw these creatures out in to the open."

Attack (Warhammer): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4, Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5, Just can't believe my luck in this battle, can't hit the broad side of a skeleton. I better get out of the way and let someone else have a try.

"Follow me you poor animated creatures!" Roran says as he backs away from the door.

Male Dwarf Cleric 1

"Switch to long or ranged weapons my friends and you can attack over the top of me. Else, we need to back up and let these undead creatures through the bottleneck."

On Roran's next turn he attacks again with his warhammer. Attack (Warhammer): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15, Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8. Well, one better than my last attack and a good damage roll again, hope it hits.

Male Dwarf Cleric 1

Roran attaks the skeleton that attacked him. Attack (Warhammer): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14, Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7. Well that was a mediocre attack.

"Well my friends, here we go again."

Male Dwarf Cleric 1

"Yes Lanten, I see your point, although I feel that we should rid the world of these evil creations."

Roran continues to wait to see if the skeletons move towards the party.

Male Dwarf Cleric 1

"Let me hit this group with some divine power first."

Roran with his warhammer still in one hand, walks to the door. As he does so, he grasps his holy symbol and holding it out begins to chant. A second later a bright light again comes forth from the outstretched symbol and bathes the skeletons in the room in a warm radiance.

Channel positive energy: Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2. The skeletons get a DC 12 Will save for half damage.

"Well it didn't destroy 'em, but they should be a bit easier to send to their final rest."

Roran then readies an attack to hit the first skeleton that steps up to the door.

Male Dwarf Cleric 1

Roran's attention is pulled towards the door at Lanten's warning about the trap. He then lifts his hammer and readies himself for whatever may be behind the door.

Male Dwarf Cleric 1

Checking out the party, Roran can only see wounds on Wolfie and himself. He grasps the holy symbol hanging from his neck and saying something in his native language, a bright light burst forth from the holy symbol and fills the room. Everyone feels the warmth and goodness that washes over them and those that were wounded are healed some.

Channel Positive Energy: 1d6 ⇒ 4, everyone that was wounded is healed of 4 point of damage.

Male Dwarf Cleric 1

"Perhaps building an undead army, or just as guards that don't need to be paid, but that is just conjecture at this point." Roran checks the party to see who may need some healing at this point.

Male Dwarf Cleric 1

Roran again swings with his warhammer at the nearest skeleton.

Attack (Warhammer): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3, Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9, Oh my! That was an awful roll.

Male Dwarf Cleric 1

Swinging his warhammer with both hands at the nearest skeleton, Roran attacks:

Attack (Warhammer): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19, Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8. Roran can move up to 20' to get to an opponent if needed.

"Take that you undead monstrosity!"

Edited to add the following that I forgot to add:

Lanten Tiberiu wrote:
FYI - I am treating the mug as an improvised weapon, hence the penalty. As far as damage, that's a guess on my part since I'm not certain where it says the damage result. Please adjudicate as you see fit.

The rules say that to choose the damage for an improvised weapon you compare it's size and characteristics to a known weapon. Looking at it I would say Lanten, that you were correct in your choice for damage, but it's still up to Relayer to make a final decision.

Male Dwarf Cleric 1

Roran grasps the holy symbol that hangs around his neck and holds it out in front of him to the limit of the cord that it is attached to. He then calls upon the power of Torag to deal with these undead creatures.

Roran channels energy to due damage to the skeletons. Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2, DC 12 Will save for half damage. Should hit all the skeletons in the room.

Male Dwarf Cleric 1

Sorry, AC 16, Flat 15, Touch 11

Male Dwarf Cleric 1

Roran will indeed go into the room his full movement of 20'. Giving the others in the party the opportunity to enter the room.

Male Dwarf Cleric 1

"Well, let's see if we can get their attention."

Assuming that they are arrayed as the last room was with four skeletons down each side and a path to walk in between, Roran will try to walk as far as he can towards the back of the room. I will ready an attack for the moment that Roran is attacked, and if he is not attacked, then Roran will go all the way to the back of the room and attack the skeleton on the right.

If the room is laid out differently, then Roran will go forward as far as he can and attack a skeleton near him.

Roran walks into the room warily watching the skeletons, ready to attack the moment that they move towards him.

Attack (Warhammer): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Male Dwarf Cleric 1

Roran draws the warhammer from the loop in his belt where it normally rests and readies himself for battle. After hearing about the previous encounters the group has had, he's not sure what to expect.

Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
Initiative: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24

Sorry for not posting for a few days, I've been out of town.

Male Dwarf Cleric 1

"Worry not my friends I'm not being critical, but just curious. But coming from a gruff ol' dwarf may not have registered in your ears and mind well."

"I mind not being cautious if it keeps us alive another day."

Roran moves back to give Lanten room to check the door thoroughly.

Male Dwarf Cleric 1

Roran follows the others retracing their steps, and when they reach the end of the hallway with the two doors Roran says, "Lanten and Durion, have ya been carefully checking doors before going through, or have ya just been throwing them open. I'd just like to say that if you have been mostly encountering undead, they likely are not going to make any noise to detect."

"But, if you'd like the check the door first, that's fine by me."

Male Dwarf Cleric 1

"I have no need to wait at this point, so I say let's delay no further. Lead the way my new friends, and we'll see what we can do to "clean" out this man's home."

Male Dwarf Cleric 1

"Well that's quite a tale my friends. It sounds like fortune has helped us both. I have no like for those that would use the dead in such a way, and would gladly assist you in you task."

I've been following the pbp, so I am familiar with what has transpired.

Male Dwarf Cleric 1

Roran thanks Lanten for the offer of a drink and says, "You are right sir, in that I am a cleric of Torag, and would gladly take an offer of joining you if you were willing to have me?"

"Did I hear you say something about a ghost? I would like to hear more about it."

Male Dwarf Cleric 1

As Lanten, Durion and Wulfie discuss their current situation, the dwarf at the table next to them hears the mention of a need for a cleric.

"Pardon me", he says, "But I believe that I can help you in your search for a cleric to join you. Come join me at my table and we can discuss your needs further, and I can tell you a little of myself and how I think I can help you."

Looking to the table where the voice came from you see a male dwarf with dark brown eyes, long brown hair, and a bushy brown beard and mustache. He is wearing traveling clothes which are dusty and look as if he had just arrived in town after a long journey. Also what looks to be a holy symbol of some sort hangs from a chain around his neck.
