About Rook Tarkas
Rook was born in a Varisian caravan, and grew up working and living in it until he was around 17 years old. Then the caravan was attacked by marauders and all but he and a couple of the other young strong men in the caravan survived. They decided to sell what they could and just fall back on being mercenaries. They worked freelance for a while but, eventually his allies started dying on missions until only Rook was left. He decided to start working for the Sczarni and joined the Pathfinder Society to better his odds of surviving.
