About Rook Chippedbeak
Rook is a tengu; small and light for a humanoid, heavy and sturdy for an avian. A sleeveless rust-colored robe garbs him from shoulders to knees and sleek black feathers cover the rest. In the right light, his feathers shimmer with blue and purple iridescence and the black scales of his hands & feet glint bronze. Long, winglike feathers project from his arms from shoulder to wrist, but never seem to get snagged or caught when he moves. Yellow eyes frame his curved scavenger's beak, unadorned save for a fingertip-width notch out of the right side.
