Thank you very much. Moving it to the side cart is fine. I do want it, and don't mind waiting for it, but I am excited that the rest of the order is on the way. I hope that you have a wonderful day.

Greetings, I placed this order some time ago and have yet to hear anything about it. When I placed the order all of the items were available. Can I get an update please. I hope that everyone has a wonderful day.

Male Human Wizard 1

Well, all Rolan has his eyes on is the wands and a share of the gold. Anything beyond that he is willing to leave to the rest of the group. Sorry for the short posts. Work has been very interesting lately.

Male Human Wizard 1

Rolan nods his head, his expression guarded, and he steps forward to examine the valuable items further. Thinking back to his father and grandfather discussing the nature of wealth and various items, as well as working the floor of the store with his sister Rolan does his best to apoximate the value of what they have found.

Taking 20 on each item. That is a check value of 32 for each item. What do we have?

Male Human Wizard 1

Actually, unless I missed something we never got an answer about what items from Lamm's room were magical or not. Can we get a final word on that DM?

Male Human Wizard 1

Rolan watches the appearance of Zellara with a raised eyebrow. Her words cause an angry frown to cross his face and his eyebrows lower. He takes a single step back as if mere proximity to such words might taint him. ”I’m no ‘champion’ lady. ‘Champions’ have a nasty tendency to wind up dead. If I wanted that I’d have joined my father in the Guard.” He looks around at the others present and shakes his head sharply. ”Look at us. A ragtag bunch of misfits. Yeah, we took on a petty thug and his henchmen. But, when you start throwing around the word ‘champion’ you’re talking real trouble. Real trouble is what the Sable Company is for, and we just saw what is happening to them.” He points towards the doorway towards the rough location where they saw the rider go down.

Rolan’s eyes search his companions, and a conflicted expression crosses his face only to be banished by a smirk. ”Don’t get me wrong. This city is my home; and I look after me and mine. But, I’m nobody’s shinning knight.” With that he rights a fallen chair and takes a seat before going through his pouches and revealing the items that they picked up from Lamm’s hideout. ”This is what we came across. Given time I can identify these myself, but perhaps you can do it faster Zellara? I would take it as a kindness.” This last is said with a grudging edge as if merely saying the words cost Rolan something.

Male Human Wizard 1

Rolan's eyebrow moves up upon his brow as he looks through the apparently abandoned and ransacked house. Reaching into his pouch he brings forth a blank rune-stone and speaks softly invoking the power of the blank rune. As he studies the results of his spell his mind thinks back to his years studying at his old school. Surely there is something that can explaim how this was managed. Perhaps an elaborate illusion? While his brain thinks on these two tasks a third part of it addresses the status of the crowd. "A new Queen eh? Big deal I say. More taxes and then everything will be back to normal."

Casting Detect Magic on the house to try and find a trace of how they might have been duped.
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15 Knowledge Arcana check to figure out what might have caused everything that he has seen in this house even though their hostess was dead.

Male Human Wizard 1

Rolan shrugs his shoulders. "I don't disagree on any one point. I suppose you have a few thoughts about what can be done with the head? I have an idea about what happened to the body, and that of her son." Rolan looks pointedly at the hole leading towards the water. "Either way we had best move quickly. You don't want to be here when the watch finally showes up. Dead old men and the heads of women don't go over very well." Suiting actions to words Rolan begins to pack up the items that they have found. unless stopped by someone he also gathers up the brooch, wrapped in a dirty scrap of clothing taken from the room, and places it into his pouch.

Male Human Wizard 1

Rolan carefully considers what is said around him as he gently puts the head down back into the box. "I would be happy to return home with those things we think may be magical in nature. After furthur study I am sure that I can identify them. That Brooch, in particular, tugs at my mind. I get the feeling that it is something important and would like to study it more. After a day or so we can meet at a cafe near my family's shop and discuss how to split everything up. Any objections?

Male Human Wizard 1

Rolan looks up from his work examining the collected treasures of Lamm just in time to see the opening of the box containing their hostess’s head. An eyebrow raises up as he moves over to examine the head. Himself. After hearing Richter’s diagnosis he extends one hand and gently pulls the smaller box from the stump of her neck. He attempts to open the box and examine both it and whatever it may contain. All the while he tries to figure out the combination of spells which might create the event that caused them all to be set upon this path. His brow’s furrow in thought as a frown creases his face. Munin moves from his shoulder and flies around the room before attempting to land on Kuw Awk’s head.

1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16 Knowledge Arcane
1d20 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17 Appraise on box
1d20 + 14 ⇒ (20) + 14 = 34 Spellcraft check on box
If the box itself isn’t magical and he can get at the contents then he will try to determine if the contents are magical.

Male Human Wizard 1

Rolan moves to join Richter in detecting magic on the treasures they have discovered. His hands produce a single rune from his pouch and he holds it steadily before him while speaking quiet words in the harsh language of his fathers.

1d20 + 14 ⇒ (8) + 14 = 22 Spellcraft Wand
1d20 + 14 ⇒ (9) + 14 = 23 Spellcraft Kraken
1d20 + 14 ⇒ (18) + 14 = 32 Spellcraft Crown
1d20 + 14 ⇒ (20) + 14 = 34 Silver Ring
1d20 + 14 ⇒ (1) + 14 = 15 Figureine
1d20 + 14 ⇒ (11) + 14 = 25 Shuriken
1d20 + 14 ⇒ (20) + 14 = 34 Brooch

Male Human Wizard 1

Rolan looks over their meager finding with disappointment. You’d think after so many years of this life he might have had something worth finding. His frown deepens as he takes in the truly disgusting nature of Lamm’s bedroom and sniffs disdainfully. He nods towards the keys that Byron found. ”That looks like an invitation.” His head quirks towards the locked strongbox as if to clarify his meaning.

As the paper is thrust towards Rolan he takes it gently and turns it over in his hand. ”This will take a moment.” He says as he concentrates upon the scratchy writing. ”In the meantime we should check the containers we have found. Might be something worth it.”

It is my intention for Rolan to take ten on this check. So, 19. If that isn’t enough then he’ll check over it later.

Male Human Wizard 1

Rolan spares but a glance for the sobbing barbarian as his eyes drink in the sight of Lamm's dead body. Nodding his head at Alymbrand's comment about the possibility of a shark or other monster below Rolan moves around the great hold into the water and into the partitioned off part of the room. His eyes dart this way and that looking for any sign of magical lore or gear. When Richter makes to dump Lamm’s body Rolan raises an eyebrow and backs away from the edge of the hole even further into the partitioned off section of the room.

Rolan will search the room using Detect magic as well. He will attempt to identify anything he finds with a spellcraft check. Here's one just in case.

1d20 ⇒ 5 Perception
1d20 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13 Appraise
1d20 + 14 ⇒ (14) + 14 = 28 Spellcraft

Male Human Wizard 1

Rolan moves forward as much as he can, crossing his arms before his chest, until he sees the two fighters poised over the man he knows must be Lamm. His eyes shine with delight as they focus on the expression upon the old man's face. "Do it" He whispers almost to himself. Then the steel flashes and the weapons fall. A smile crosses Rolan's lips as he watches the last bloody moments of this vile man.

Male Human Wizard 1

Rolan locks eyes with the older boy. He marks the boy's face and nods his head briefly. Taking but a moment to wipe most of the blood off of his hands and dagger using the gnome's discarded clothes he looks around once more and then makes his way down the hole to meet up with his companions. When he reaches the lower level he draws his dagger again and exchanges a look with Munin.

Male Human Wizard 1

Rolan watches his two companions go down to join the others. Standing behind the gnome he waits until they cannot see him then swiftly slashes his dagger across the gnomes throat. Leaning forward he whispers into its' ear, "The Crow sets you free."

He turns towards the children and looks at them with a serious expression. "Be not afraid children. His rein of terror is now ended. Just as Lamm's will be."

OK, I know that a coup de grace is a full round action. Feel free to re-set initative if you need to.

2d4 ⇒ (1, 4) = 5 Coup de Grace Damage on Hooks.

Male Human Wizard 1

Rolan listens to the gnome with a grim expression upon his face. He fingers the key that had been found in the gnome's pocket and examines its' plain workmanship. Shaking his head he tosses it towards Byron and draws his dagger. "Probably uses the slurry to keep some kind of sea monster close by. The others will need a warning. You two let them know. I'll free him. He has managed to prove useful after all." This last is said as if Rolan is both rather surprised and disappointed. He moves up behind the gnome in preparation for cutting the ropes.

Male Human Wizard 1

Sorry for the lack of posting. Work has been more busy than usual as of late.

Male Human Wizard 1

Hmmm, quick question. Any chance that Rolan would know if the gnome had any connection to the murdur which Rolan was accused of? Would that be a knowledge Local check or something else? Just wondering, won't really affect my next post too much, but I'd rather know first.

Male Human Wizard 1

Rolan watches the direction of the conversation and then he grins as the gnome is held over the hole in the water. "I like that idea. Probably the most productive thing it will have ever done with its' life."

Male Human Wizard 1

It's cool man. Sorry you got stuck out for so long. I hope that your weekend is better.

Male Human Wizard 1

Rolan raises an eyebrow as the group seems to settle down into questioning the gnome. "At the risk of breaking up this lovely family style gathering I feel obligated to point out that a large amount of noise has been made, including shouts and many heavy thumps. If we wish to catch Lamm I think we should forget the gnome, or rather strip him, bind him to the chair, and leave him to the tender mercies of the brats here. We know where Lamm likely is. Let's go get him before he escapes again." He looks over at the older children. "I'm sure you can think of ways to repay this miscreant for his many kindnesses whist we are below." His corresponding smile bears not an ounce of humor.

Male Human Wizard 1

DM:
Rolan will pick up everything that he finds and store it for further use, with the rink in his coin purse, the thunderstone in his alchemical item's pouch along with the vials of acid. The tanglefoot bags will be tucked into his belt and the want into a cloak pocket.

Rolan's hands move quickly transferring things to his own pockets and pouches. Then he stands up and moves to where Taisha is standing. After he gets her attention he passes her one of the tanglefoot bags. "Should your wiles fail you against Lamm." He then moves over to where Richter and passes him the second bag. "Tanglefoot bag for Lamm. Use it in good health."

Rolan then reaches into his alchemical pouch, the black one, and pulls out a vial of acid. This he hands to Alynbrand. "Acid, for the gnome. If it was me, I'd pour it down its' throat."

Male Human Wizard 1

The crashes and booms of battle die down quickly and suddenly Rolan hears hurried conversation. Shaking his head Rolan quickly retraces his steps back into the room that they first entered. There he spots the corpse of the magic user they first encountered. His eyes light up as he sees the wand in the body's hand and he quickly moves forward to scoop it up and search through the rest of the dead man's things for scrolls or potions or other possibly magical things. A smirk crosses his face as he thinks about using Lamm's own bodyguard's things to attack Lamm.

1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30 Appraise check on Wand.
1d20 + 14 ⇒ (9) + 14 = 23 Spellcraft check on Wand.
1d20 ⇒ 7 Perception check.
Not sure which is needed, don't have book at work, so use whatever you need and I'll roll more if necessary.

Male Human Wizard 1

Rolan moves west through the doorway before him and then moves towards the northern door. The sounds of the fight give him pause for a moment, as does the thumping of running feet from behind the double doors to the rest. Hoping that it is one of his allies and not another thug Rolan reaches into his rune pouch and pulls out two of the small tiles as he examines the rough wood of the door in front of him. His nose rebels against the stink of the fish slurry and he tries to blink his eyes to clear his mind.

Male Human Wizard 1

Holding his dagger in his right hand Rolan advances into the room until his stands next to the door leading into the left chamber. He hears the exchanges between the thug and the other members of the group. A sneer crosses his face as he thinks about the weakness of someone who would use a child as a shield.

Male Human Wizard 1

Rolan watches the initial assault with keen eyes. The others seem to be eager to come to grips with their foes, such as they are, and he is loath to dissuade them from such a tactic. As the man who is threatening them with a wand comes into focus Rolan draws his dagger and eyes this new foe.

If the man with the wand is still alive and unengaged when Rolan's turn comes up then he will attack using Hand of the Apprentice. 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 Attack. 1d4 ⇒ 2 Damage.
If the man is in melee combat with someone else by then Rolan will hold his attack. If another unengaged target presents itself by then Rolan's attack will be directed towards that target.

Male Human Wizard 1

Rolan stifles a laugh at the banter between Kur-Awk and Taisha and shakes his head. His hand rests upon the holt of his dagger as he peers over the shoulders of the others. His frown deepens as the minutes tick by. With a snort he whispers to Kur-Awk, "If something else doesn't happen soon what say you to just knocking on the door with that big hammer of yours?"

Male Human Wizard 1

When the reading begins Rolan's face is marred by a smirk, but as the reading goes on his lips bend into a frown and his eyes grow dark and hard. He settles back into the chair and seems to retreat within himself. His unfocused eyes fail to notice the air as it rushes through the room, even as it knocks the half finished wine glass from his fingers. Munin takes shelter from the gust on Rolan's shoulder using the wizard's head as a wind-break.

When the others begin to leave Rolan slowly get to his feet. He pulls the hood of his robe up over his head hiding his face in shadows. Turing towards their hostess he bows. "Before this night is out you shall be free." Turning away sharply he strides from the room to join the rest.

During the journey Rolan remains silent, save to give directions once or twice when the way isn’t clear in the darkness. When they reach the alley he remains towards the back of the group allowing those with keener eyes than him to view their destination. "Can anyone see a way in?"

1d20 ⇒ 15 Perception Check to find a way in.

Male Human Wizard 1

"Ah, now I remember why Westpier sounds familiar. My mentor took me there once a few years back to practice spells of rats and other vermin." Rolan sits up higher in the chair and sets his wine glass aside, as well as the remains of his bread. His eyes are sharp as he relays his memories. His gaze shifts from one member of the party to another. "There are dangers there aside from just Lamm himself. The piers are now all but unused by anyone with something resembling a savory nature. Don't look wealthy when traveling there, or the beggars and pick pockets will swarm you. There should be fewer about at night, but I wouldn’t bet my purse on it. A water approach is more dangerous than I first thought. Lots of sharks and other unsightly sea monsters are in that area. It may be best if we travel there in pairs to reduce our chance of detection, and make sure that none of us gets waylaid."

His gaze now returns to Zellara and his mouth quirks in a smirk to match hers. "I never put much stock in Harrow, but it is interesting to hear what a reader comes up with. I'm game."

Male Human Wizard 1

Rolan nods when Kur-Awk sits down and then returns his attention to the rest of the group. Sipping his wine once more he frowns and wrinkles appear upon his forehead. His voice is quieter when he speaks. "So we have a scout and two people willing to dig up information. The best thing we can do, if there is nothing else you can share with us Ma'am, is to head out and observe this place from a safe distance. I would advise against a water approach. Too problematic and easy to detect. Still, he may have a boat for a quick exit. Richter, what can you tell us about his defenses? Anything special that sticks in your mind? I'd hate to be surprised by something."

As he speaks Rolan's mind mulls over what he knows about the area that they have been directed towards. Surely there must be something that can help them.

1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29 Knowledge Local.

Male Human Wizard 1

"To blast or not to blast. That is the question
Whether it is nobler in the mind to suffer
the stench and belches of outrageous drunkenness.
Or, to take up spells against a sea of alcoholism
and by Fireball cleanse it."

Anyway, I hope everyone had a good weekend. Happy Singles Awareness Day to all.

Male Human Wizard 1

Rolan smirks at Alynbrand's words, "Well then, I guess we shall have to find you an underling to wring out like a dishrag. Tell you what. You hold him and I'll make him wish he was dead."

The entrance of their hostess stops any further conversation and Rolan watches her from the chair as he sips his wine. His expression remains unchanged through her explanation and story, although his eyes harden at the mention of the murder. When her eyes turn towards him he looks away with a pained expression and sips the wine which now tastes like ash. Setting the glass aside he points towards the card Munin deposited upon the table. "The Crow is ready to do his part in this.” His eyes turn towards the departing barbarian, "Leave now if you must. I would rather make a plan and seek more information. We'll only get one shot at this. Best get it right."

Male Human Wizard 1

Finding no reaction to his words Rolan frowns, and then smirks to himself. Finding a seat near the worn down one he pours himself a portion of wine and pulls off a hunk of bread from that in the basket. Sitting down he crosses an ankle over his knee and watches the others. After listening for a moment and sipping the wine, decent enough vintage, he speaks. "Well, if we must go through this social ritual... I am Rolan Anguson. I was a student of The Art before Lamm decided that nobody likes the son of an Ulfen outsider. One botched trial later and here I am."

Munin hops down from Rolan's shoulder to his wrist and pecks at the bread. Rolan frowns and turns his grumpy expression up towards Alynbrand, "You want to ask the man question eh? What could be so important that we should risk trying to take him alive?"

Male Human Wizard 1

Too many sitcoms to name. Interesting idea. I'm cool with it. Does that make you John Candy and me Steve Martin?

Male Human Wizard 1

Rolan attempts to maintain some dignity while moving away from the ever-approaching barbarian and his dragon breath. He raises a hand to his nose and speaks in a scathing voice. "I did not send the cards lummox. Even if I did I wouldn't send one to you."

Taking his gaze away from the big brute his eyes are drawn to the newcomer. For a moment he is quiet as his pupils dilate from the shock of her appearance. Closing his eyes he shakes his head for a moment and then lets out a harsh chuckle as her statements register on his mind. "Be assured woman. There was no ruffian in your room last night. It is painfully obvious that these cards were distributed by magical means. I myself can think of several spells capable of accomplishing such a feat quite easily. The only question is who sent them and how did they gain a connection to us strong enough to allow for such an effect. You didn't lose something important to you recently did you? Something shiny perhaps?" His lips move into a smirk as he imagines such an obviously wealthy woman mooning over some lost trinket.

Since the others seem intent upon talking about their connections to Lamm Rolan draws forth his card, only to have Munin pluck it from his fingers and fly over to the table. The raven places the crow card face up on the table and then looks around quickly before speaking in Ulfen, "Crow for death. Crow for Death. Lamm! Lamm shall die." Rolan's face is slightly surprised as he waves his hand at the raven. "Hush Munin." he growls as the raven flies back to Rolan's shoulder and gives him a light peck on the ear. Rolan winces at the slight pain. "Yes Lamm shall die. I have something special saved up for him. He shall be squashed like the insect he is."

Male Human Wizard 1

Yeah, caught that one too late to edit. I think I'll sleep with the rulebook under my pillow tonight. :)

Also, sorry everyone if Rolan' seems a bit gruff The basic concept for him is a rather arrogant, direct, and abrasive person with a dose of suspicion and paranoia thanks to Lamm’s influence. He should mellow out as the game goes on. He is really depressed about what has happened and is transferring his self loathing onto nearly everyone else. Therefore he hates others because he hates himself more. Make sense?

Anyway, I'm liking what I'm seeing so far with this game. Good fun and an interesting dynamic so far.

Male Human Wizard 1

Rolan raises a hand to his nose at the smell of the youth who just entered the house. Taking a step back he grimaces. "Kindly take yourself to the other side of the room boy." He says as he tries to keep a hold of his dinner. Rolan's other hand reaches up and draws back the hood of his robe. His raven black hair is long and disheveled looking, and in need of a good barber. His face, sporting the stubble of several days of growth, is hard and sharp looking. His dark brown robe flows about him slightly as he moves away from the offending smell and the light picks out strange runes along the cuffs and hem.

Reaching a safer distance he lowers his hand from his face and looks sharply from one person to the next with eyes full of suspicion. "I don't recognize any of you." His mind quickly goes through the possibilities. A barbaric youth. Probably hasn't been out of his cups in weeks by the smell. He is incapable of sending the message. Here, a man with a rapier? Elegant weapon, but still used for the application of violent force. A holy symbol? He is either a very religious want-to-be duelist or a cleric of some kind. There is a possibility there. Rolan frowns as he thinks and his eyes move on. Another fighting man. Probably a thick skull to compliment that big sword and chained weapon he carries. At least he's not drunk. And an Elf? No, Half Elf perhaps. Hard to tell, but he's wearing a fancy blade. Better keep an eye on him.

Roland’s left hand, which has slowly returned to his rune pouch, emerges and he feels the familiar shape of several rune tiles in his palm as he waits. It seems like the sender is not yet here. He is beginning to suspect that the sender isn’t involved with his school at all. They are normally pickier about company.

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15 Slight of Hand check to hide rune tiles.

Male Human Wizard 1

"Not from school. Not from school." Munin speaks into Rolan's ear as he makes his way down the street. Rolan shakes his head and reaches one hand up to still the agitated bird. "Hush Munin. I know that."

His eyes take in the structure that the card has brought him to and a furrow appears upon his brow. He had been unable to learn anything about the person who dwelled within the building. Still, he had no memory of any of his old companions residing in this area. That means that either someone is being even more sneaky than he thought, or a new player has entered the game. Rolan fights down a wave of frustration and disappointment. He was really hoping to find an old colleague here, maybe even Professor Ulfred.

The dark haired wizard almost turns back, but his hand slides into his pocket and brushes the card hidden there. Squaring his shoulders he takes a deep breath and marches towards the door. His left hand reaches into his rune pouch and fingers several rune tiles as he prepares to cast a spell should the other side of the doorway prove dangerous.

(OOC: Ready spell, sleep.)

Male Human Wizard 1

The morning son shines through the tiny window of Rolan's upper story appartment room. His right hand shades his sandy eyes against the brightness as a groan escapes his lips. Shaking his head from side to side he breathes in the smells of the street below. Jenna the baker must be hard at work already as the scent of rolls and loaves being prepres wafes through the air. Of couse this mixes with the wet smell of the fishmonger bringing the day's find back to his shop after a quick trip to the harbor district. His a growl of frustration he heaves himself off of his cot and lands on his feet.

His ill temper is caused by yet another night spent in feverish dreams of that darn Lamm fellow. Taking the form of both bogey man and the target of his rage in equal parts the unknown form of the man seemed to change and fluctuate as Rolan's subconcious attempted to put a face to the name of the man he knows is responcible for Rolan's fall from grace. His fists clench once more as he forces himself to stand and walk over to his spell book. Maybe he doesn't have the full honors of a graduate, but he still knows how to do a thing or two. Rolan sits at his desk and opens his spell book to the well thumbed page detailing Read Magic. The spell was almost a meditation now and... hold on?

Rolan's right hand reaches out and picks up the Harrow card nestled close to the spide of his book on that same page. The crow stares back at him from the surface of the card and the wizard finds a sardonic laugh escaping his lips. So, someone has been in his room? Or perhaps a spell has been cast to place that card in his book. Turning the card over he reads the text while another hand reaches out the stroke the feathers of Munin. The raven looks at the card too with one eye and then speaks a few words in Rolan's father's tongue. "Don't like it! Don't like it! Where come from?"

"Relax my friend." Rolan replies as his mind picks over the possibilities. "If this was sent by an enemy we would already be kneed deep in trouble. No a friend sent this. The only question is who. Not too many people know me well enough to send this by a spell. Perhaps one of my friends from school has found something out." Setting the card down he shakes his head. "Either way, I might as well get some work done for the shop. isolde will have my head if I don't have those tinder twigs ready to go for that order."

Taking some time to memorise the spells that he might need, and doing his best to ignore the slowly building sense of excitment in his stomach, Roland goes about his usual activities, and makes sure to avoide his father. He didn't want to deal with yet another lecture about morality and duty. Lamm stole his future. Rolan would havee revenge.

Male Human Wizard 1

Interesting, by my count the total is 65 gold and 7 copper. Did you count the 20g for the acid flasks twice and the 1g for the parchment multiple times? Those costs represent the total cost, not the individual cost. Acid flasks cost 10g and parchment costs 2s each.

Last language selected.

I’m going to be detailing the spell book as I have time over the next few days, but Rolan should be ready to go now.

Male Human Wizard 1

Hail and well met. Looks like this will be a very magic heavy party. Sounds like fun to me and I look forward to figuring out battlefield strategy with everyone. Aside from posting the details of his spells I believe that Rolan is ready to go. If I'm missing something please let me know.

Also, if anyone is interested in linking backgrounds in some way I would be open to it. It's a big city but there is a chance that we could have run into each other in such a way that we would remember. Also, GM, do you want me to provide more detail on Rolan's family and their shop or do you want to do that yourself? I'm cool either way. I figure the more plot hooks, and sub-plot hooks, the better. I hope everyone has a great day. This is going to be awesome.

Wow, a wonderful group of characters indeed. I am sorry that the dude can't make it. Then again life comes first. Anyway, is there anything else that is needed from Rolan? I know that his depression is strong right now, but my intention is that when he sees Lamm pay he will even out, perhaps he even discovers how empty revenge is. His connection to the city herself is fairly strong, he has never left it before, but his connection to his family is stronger. If you want more details about family members let me know.

On a side note, I understand the desire to run two groups. However, in my experience it can be rather difficult if both groups go in different directions. The main danger is keeping everything straight and not confusing the different plots and sub-plots. Still, if you want to give it a shot feel free. Another option is just keeping a waiting list along with the understanding that if a person doesn’t post then they will be replaced with someone from the waiting list.

However, enough negative thinking. I am really excited about this campaign. I was sad when it ended last time. Hopefully this ulfen character will be better received than the last one. There is such a great gathering of characters here. It will be interesting to see how the groups turn out. Again, if you need any other information just let me know.

Greetings dude. I finally got some time for a break so here is the wizard I worked up. Please let me know what you think and if he needs any changes.
