About Rohn Kronabrytare

He was born in Lastwall to a pair of Ulfen warriors who had come to join the Silver Crusade against the Whispering Tyrant (the lich who is imprisoned in Ustalav, in Gallowspire). They died fighting orcs in the mountains north of Lastwall when he was only 10.

Rhon was taken in by the blacksmith in their village, a half-orc named Roger Half-finger (so called because of an old adventuring scar). He learned the blacksmith trade but was also allowed to follow the calling of his Ulfen blood, which led him into the wilds.

He left home when he was 14 and began traveling. He became a ranger. On a trip to the Lands of the Linnorm Kings, he met and fell in love with Leta, the daughter of a lumberjack in Losthome in the Grungir Forest. They married and settled in Grungier Forest, where they had three children: Sven, Inga and Ulsten (named for his father). Rohn worked a blacksmith for the settlement, repairing farming implements and axes and such.

Three days after Sven's seventh birthday, an attack came one night from Cheliax, led by demons and hellknights. Their little logging settlement was sacked and burned, and only Rohn and the newborn Ulsten survived.

He took his son to Lastwall to learn the ways of demon fighting. Unfortunately, Ulsten died of his injuries along the way, and Rohn arrived in Lastwall alone.

The summer after his arrival in Lastwall, Rohn encountered the remains of a wolfpack that had been attacked by some unknown creature. There were three pups still living, though badly wounded. He took care of them and raised them to adulthood. The two females (whom he called Flower and Daisy) returned to the wild to rejoin their kind, but the male, named Thorn, has stayed with him and will eventually become his animal companion. Thorn prefers not to sleep indoors and is not a "house wolf."

Rohn is now a demonslayer serving the Silver Crusade.

Rohn is a mountain of a man. He stands 6'9" tall and is made of muscle. His naturally blond hair and beard are dyed fire-red. His head is shaved on the sides, and a quartet of intricate braids rise from the center of his scalp and run down to the middle of his back, held with iron bands that he himself has forged. He braids small iron rings into his beard, as well. The sides of his head are covered in Uflen-style interlace tattoos, and his piercing blue eyes look startlingly pale in his usually soot-covered face.

He wears chainmail (for now) and wields a great axe in the two-handed weapon style. He eschews shields. He has a short bow, which he uses almost exclusively for hunting. He also carries a war hammer.

He carries a slayer's kit, a Wayfinder, and a holy symbol. He worships Erastil, as you might expect.
