"Yeah, well.....fine. But I'm still mad at him."

He stalked off.

"How does that make it better?!"

"Wha -? Ugh. Not cool. Not cool at all.....I....yeah, just no....."

"Dude, not cool. Why would you even accuse Dave of that? Jealous much?" Rodhas said from the other side of Treisdan, Joneh nodding in agreement.

"OK. One for mathemagics two for A.P.E. one for elementary. And J?" oops Spug is here now. Just gonna wait. "how bout you two?" He looks over to the hockey guys.

"We have history this period. So boring."

"But those are some of the best parts of a sport. Does the school have a mascot? Wait! I've got it! Blue team is the icecats red team is the Firebirds. Took me long enough."

"Well, it goes with the color theme. Makes sense to me."

"So now we need to recruit cheerleaders too?" he asked, a bit overwhelmed by the whole process.

"Sure."he looks around. "Who all needs one and are they one size or am I gonna have to take two teams of measurements? Will there be cheerleaders? Will they need uniforms?

wow ninja'ed it and it still made complete sense. I'm a psychic ninja.

"We're still recruiting players so I don't really know....hadn't considered about things like cheerleaders or mascots before..."

"Sure. . . When do you need em? How bout designs? Mascots?" He rolls over and looks at Rodhas quizzically with head propped up on hands.

"Well, the sooner the better really. We're trying to get the club established and the sooner we have stuff ready to go the more likely we are to get approved as an official club."

"Ah when I say off planet I meen I wasnt born on this particular ball of rock in space." He pauses "you know how at least for the last few months argatha orbits around the sun right? And there are lots of little points of light at night?" He pauses to see if she understands before moving on "well those little points of light are stars just like our sun,'around those suns are more planets, some of those planets have people on them, I'm from one of those planets" he then tries to make sure that she has it.

He then turns to tybalt "in the air, air hokey. You like flying right? I mean who doesn't? Hence the game, and as to the colors, well I've always like blue and red, what do you guys think" he says, turning to the game inventers at the end

"Yeah, red and blue works great. Umm...maybe some red and some blue? We need to make two teams or there's nobody to play against, right?"

Tybalt instantly forgets any negative emotion as it is replaced with excitement. "Oh my gods Dave did you just say hockey?!" He looks to the nearest person. "You heard him say hockey right?" Back at Dave. "Yes! Where's the rink?! Who are the teams?! Do we have equipment?! When do we start?! Does anyone else know how to play?! Can I be the mascot?! What colors do you want them in?!" He punctuates each rapid fire question by appearing in a new place. At the end he blinks far enough away from the group to do something big. He punches the ground and ice begins to spiral around him after 30 seconds a full hockey rink made entirely of ice has bloomed around him he stands in the middle holding a stick. "Let's play right now!"
I think he might like hockey. Ice and all that.

"Umm....sorry to disappoint, but it was uh, air hockey....just like hockey, but flying...." He looked at Dave, not sure what to do next.

"hmm, just refreshing my memory, this is the in the air air hockey right? well, have you thought of getting a faculty member to help you out? I mean I don't really know what's involved in getting a club off the ground" he pauses "what have you tried so far?"

"We got the forms and everything from the student council like we were supposed to, but we haven't been able to convince anyone to be the faculty advisor. And our recruiting efforts are...less than spectacular. Umm....well, that's why we thought you might be able to help since people listen to you and stuff."

Dave looks up "sure thing, whatcha need"

"I was hoping you could give us some advice. We're having some trouble with getting our sports club off the ground cause people don't really take us seriously. And you're more of a people person, so I thought maybe you could, I dunno....steer us in the right direction?"

The group eating outside (not close enough to the lake to have been splashed by hydra antics) is approached by a pair of boys making a beeline for Dave.

"Hey, Dave," the dark-haired boy said, smiling. "We've been looking everywhere for you. Got a minute?"

"hmm? I think so, sounds like flying hockey or something" turns back to Rodhas "I sum it up right or am I totally off"

"Yeah, that's pretty much it....well, we'll probably have to adjust the rules some to account for the game being in the air....we haven't worked out all the kinks yet."

It was only a matter of time before somebody started a quidditch team. ;P

Dave pauses, "um not formally, I've not really gone to a school before, but I'm good at running, if flying is a part of any sport he says something about that too and I am pretty heavy so any sport involving just plowing through people I'm usually pretty good at, I don't know, what sports are there" he looks curious

The girls all groan as Rodhas rubs his hands together gleefully. "Well, it's kinda a new sport. See, we all had lots of fun playing broomball when the Winter Queen invaded....well, before she invaded. It got real cold for a few hours first. But getting an ice rink in the gardens is a no so we've come up with a new version where everyone has an antigrav belt or some other means to fly.....we haven't actually tested it out yet....we're still working on the rules actually.....but it's gonna be awesome! So, I was wondering if you wanted to, you know, help out a bit," he finished with a hopeful grin.

"Nice to meet you too, Dave," Rodhas said with a friendly smile. "So...you play any sports?" he asked perhaps a little too hopefully.

"...and then he came running out of the bathroom growling and totally covered in pink glitter! It was epic," the boy with long dark hair said. The other boy sat silent, and didn't appear to have any hair at all.
