I think you did a great job with what you were given. It's season 4 and they didn't have much in the way of high level scenarios yet.

I know some of the lower tables are way behind where we are now, so I'm guessing that it would be much more challenging then.

I think you need to try both things on the same card, so Sense Motive and Overrun for the first one.

Rilke suddenly remembers that she doesn't *like* getting hurt and stops letting the hydra get a nibble. This time she races around the body a couple of times, trying to get the heads to follow her and twist themselves up. As she passes Falling Rock she mutters, "How long....are we.....supposed to keep....this thing alive?"

No attack, just confusion. Not dropping her AC this time. Double move for 160 ft. probably acquiring attacks of opportunity from most if not all of the heads.

It's not designed for people with a stupid amount of AC. If I forego my Dex, I think that brings me down to (calculating) 29. Assuming that takes out Dex, Monk, Wis, and dodge.)

Rilke stops dancing around behind the hydra and waits for a head to get close. When it does, she leaps into the air, heading straight for its mouth before kicking out one of the fangs.

Rilke figures Falling Rock has this all handled and runs down to the southern wagon to keep an eye on whoever is in there. She draws nocks an arrow, ready to shoot if need be. 80 ft. move, double move, not technically readying.

I've played a fair amount recently, though not terribly high tier. Still getting the hang of hooks, instead of flat statements.

We don't want to hurt the noncombatants. I can try to stun them, but someone else will probably have a quicker way to take them out of the fight. Rilke is definitely a shoot first, ask questions later kind of person.

Rilke's attempts at disguise are laughable, since it looks like she just rolled around in the dirt for a bit to cover up that New Dwarf Smell.

Stealth of any kind is not her strong suit, but she is quite perceptive, keeping an eye out for any hidden guards surrounding the caravan.
