Trying to see if there has been any developer or designer clarificaton on whether these abilities can be utilized as the first action of the turn after the criteria was met with the last action(s) of the last turn (Ex: Last 2 actions to cast spell and then on next turn using one of these abilities as your first action(or free action))? It makes perfect sense when read as is, especially with other abilities like conduct energy specifying "last action or spell this turn". Really hoping there has been some clarification as some of these abilities have been around since the beginning and havent been reworded in any of the errata'd changes.


I’m trying to get a solid ruling on whether the witch can refocus while their familiar is dead. The text specifies that while your familiar is dead you lose the ability to prepare spells, but says nothing else about whether you lose any other functions. Then when you look at the refocus text later on it states they refocus by communing with their familiar. Is that just flavor text like meditating or praying for other classes? Or are they staying you have to have your familiar physically in front of you? There is not mention of not being able to if the familiar is dead so I am quite confused and having a hard time finding anyone really discussing it.


Just wondering have people been adding striking weapons to this module? Are they necessary? I noticed that there aren't really many enemies that have resistance to standard weapons, but the later enemies do have pretty large health pools.


Are haunts defeated if their HP reaches BT or 0?
