Hey all! So...I've been trying, for months, to make progress on a pet-project character sheet application for the iPad. I've made a reasonable amount of progress, but nowhere near enough to make it really useful. My biggest problem, really, has been trying to maintain motivation when I have no real input to the project but my own. I'm also pretty busy (3 young kids, plus a day job), so it's been tough trying to get much done at all.

But...I'm hoping you all can help. I could really use some folks that would like to see the finished product, and would be willing to help (or at least give some feedback) with some of the non-programming tasks. While I'm a fairly decent iOS developer (it's my day job), I'm really not much of a graphics guy, so I could definitely use some input on layout and fonts/graphics and such. Even better would be someone who could help generate any images where it might be needed. Also, since I barely have time to make any progress on the actual coding part, I could also really use some help generating the data files (XML and/or JSON) that I need as reference data for the app. Not necessarily anything coding related (although someone that can pull the appropriate data using scripts wouldn't hurt), just someone that could cut-and-paste stuff from available OGL sources into XML/JSON data files.

Everything is currently publicly available on Github (info and screenshots), so check it out and let me know what you think.

Anyhow...that's my plea. Any help (even just feedback on layout/design) MUCH appreciated.

I've been slowly making progress on a character sheet app for the iPad (early stages still), but being on the engineering side I could really use some help on the graphics/design side of things (button/texture graphics, helping to decide on fonts, layout, etc.).

So I've been searching for a few days, but can't seem to find anything concrete...but has anyone out there done the work of converting applicable content (particularly Races, Classes, Feats, Spells, etc.) into any kind of XML format?

I suppose it would be fairly trivial to convert the d20pfsrd.com Trait/Feat/Spell DBs from Excel to XML, but wasn't sure if such a conversion would be "complete" (include all important data fields). Also, of course, those don't include Races and Classes, which are the ones more immediately interesting to me.

So...anyone out there tried this? Any success?

For the curious, this is for yet-another-iPad-character-sheet app.
