Revina is 5”7 tiefling. She is pale skinned with long black hair. She weights 120lb. She had faintly glowing red eyes and tiny horns that can normally be hidden by her hair. She’s always been a little too thin, some would say to a slightly sickly extent. Her stay in the prision hasn’t helped. She blames her tiefling heritage for this oddity. She is relatively human looking.
She normally wears all black, with a cloak to let her go unnoticed. She wears a brown cloak during the day and a black cloak at night.
Revina grew up in the large city of Daveryn. Revina’s mother, Draya was also a tiefling, although one who was more obviously a tiefling. Draya had scaled skin and clawed hands. Revina had never known her father, although considering her own appear, she guessed he’d been completely human. She had far less of hell in her than her mother afterall. Revina whitewing grew up as a worshipper of Mitra as must people, but she never really held Mitra in much regard. She didn’t really pray to any gods.
Revina had been hated as a child by anyone who realized what she was. She tried to hide it, however she could. She could normally hide her tiny horns, but she couldn’t do much about her eyes. She’d been beat up more than once for her heritage, as a result she was a bit of a loner. Draya was a wizard and owned a local shop, which sold magical items, normally made by Draya herself. Draya tried to teach her daughter magic, although it was always a bit beyond Revina. She could only cast darkness, which is an innate power of tieflings. She did get good at activating magic items though. Draya could rarely sell items for full price as people disliked Draya and they’d rather buy items from others. She often barely got the money it cost to make something out of it. Revina was always light fingered and often picked pockets for the extra money that helped Revina and her mother, so they could the shop going. Revina helped out in the shop as she grew older. She sold stuff better and made more money for the shop, because she looked less like a tiefling expecially if her customers didn’t see her eyes. So she began to deal with customers and Draya did the crafting of magic items. It worked well for years.

On Revina’s twenty fourth birthday, her mother took her to a small threater. The shop had been quite profitable for the last few years and they certainly had the money. The people around the two tiefling were uncomfortable and tried to shift as far away as they could. Suddenly the threater shock and suddenly the front part of the threater fell, no she realized, it sunk. Her mother was up in an instant casting featherfall towards some people who were falling. It was a sink hole, she realized. Stay here, Draya said, and ran toward, casting spells as she went to try to help people. Revina watched as she expertly cast featherfalls and other spells to protect people. I wished I had a magic item that could help, she knew there was a wand of featherfall at the shop, but it was half an hour from here. she wasn’t a wizard, regardless of how much she wished she was in that moment. She couldn’t help the people, but she could at least protect herself. It’s you, who caused this horror, fiend, yelled a young man at my mother. She must have used her wicked magics, said another. Pretending to help, so you don’t get blamed, we see through the trick fiend, said an older woman. A group of people began to surround my mother. I was only trying to help, said Draya and she put her hands up. We ain’t no fools, fiend, said a man. Revina was frozen, she was terrified for her mother. She watched as they kicked and punched at her slight mother. Revina screamed, stop, she was trying to help. He ran toward her mother and the hateful people. She watched as the young man who’d first spoken drew a dagger and stabbed Draya through the heart. She prayed to Mitra, begging him to save her mother, to answer her praryer, but a moment later, Draya screamed a scream of pain. Then Revina turned and ran, from the threater. She saw a few guards and heard one of them say, better than a tiefling deserves as they saw her mother’s body. She wanted to attack them, but she just kept running until she was back at the shop. It felt strangely empty. She sat in a corner, as a child might do, and rocked back and forth as she cried. The next morning she was unnaturally calm. She found where the money was kept in the shop and took out enough to do what was needed. She also found a pair of tinted magical glassed and put those on. They made it hard to see and she didn’t know what they did, but they hid her eyes. She went to the sight of her mother’s death and found guards still dealing with the sink hole. She brided one of the guards into telling her who the ‘brave’ man was who killed the ‘fiend’. He turned out to be a noblemen’s son, by the name of Faris. She went out and bought a new outfit of all black and a set of daggers. She went to the noblemen’s house and snuck into his house. She killed a maid along the way, but there wasn’t a shread of remorse, all she could think of was her mother. She drew her daggers as she entered his room. He was asleep. She wanted him to see her face before she died. She pulled out some cloth and gagged his mouth. She tied her wrists together next. Then she slashed his arms. He watched as his eyes opened. She saw the fear in them and smiled. You should be afraid, you’re going to pay for my mother’s death. She slashed his chest. He tried to kick her, but she nimbly avoided it. She slashed again and again. She saw his pain and it delighted her. She heard a noise from the hall and silently cursed. His time was up. She stabbed him in the throat. Looked down at the bloody body for just an instant before grabbing her dagger up and turning toward the window. She opened it and climbed along the roof and then down the house. She started to run, her hood falling off. She nearly ran into a house guard. He drew a weapon, but she was already running past, but the guard had seen her face and wouldn’t soon forget her or her piercing red eyes. It was Revina swore she would never be weak again. She gathered up all her money and decided to stay at an Inn instead of her house, for safeties sake. The next day she headed back to gather magical items from the shop, by then she’d been identified, and people watched where she went. The next day she woke up to something
She cursed as she saw the guards out the window, how could they have found. She was up in an instant, grabbing for her weapons, but they were surrounding the inn were she was staying. She rushed out, thinking perhaps she take someone hostage, because she could tell there were too many guards to fight. She was no fool afterall, but she found no one in the building. She silently cursed, remembering the inn was empty except for her. It was a small place afterall. The innkeeper would have already left. She hide a dagger before she decided to try and get out the back. Considering how many guards she’d seen at the front door she doughted it, but she had to check. She had to get out of this somehow. She excited the door and saw 8 guards. She sighed knowing she couldn’t fight them. She was a pragmatist afterall and didn’t want to die. So she put her hands up, already think how once they captured her and there were less of them, she’d pull out her dagger and fight them. Swords were drawn and her hands put in manacles. Then they searched her. She cursed as they found her hidden dagger. What could she do now. She paniced and suddenly she started to try and fight, but it was futile now. She didn’t want to go to prision or worse be executed. One of the guards hit her with a sword and her vision went black around the edges as she collapsed into uncocnciousness. When she went to the prision she thought of her mother and how Mitra had betrayed her. She hated the god with a fury she’d never before had. He had let her mother die, he let tieflings be treated as they were. She hated him and all his faithful.
Revina would love an opportunity to claim revenge on both the faithful of Mitra and on Talingarde for her treatment. She is angry. She has also always sought power.
