hDude,

It DOES depend on what you want but for in your face dpr i'd say order of the dragon- if your allies are 3/4 bab classes and go two handed. If you want your own dpr to be awesome then go scimitar/sword and shield twf.

Here me out here- twf is often suggested for paladin's because of the damage bonuses they get when smiting. We'll cavalier chars get the same damage bonus without the 'it must be evil' restriction.
In the case of Order of the shield cavalier, your job is to damage soak and defend allies. Challenge a big bad who has hit a buddy and you get your bonus to both primary and offhand attacks.

Unlike paladins, cavaliers get 3 bonus feats (just enough to cover the sword/board twf tree.) Be human. OOTShield gets to hit bonuses vs their challenge. This means you get awesome damage AND enough pluses to ensure your iteratives hit.

Also- Tactician is a great ability- using it for Paired Oppurtunists, Outflank are mega-powerful since it grants you and you allies free attacks at +4 to hit. A high critical weapon helps.

I'd go:
H- TWF
1- Improved Shieldbash
3- Doubleslice
5- Power Attack
6-Bonus Feat (maybe mounted combat)
7- Shieldslam
9- Improved TWF
11- Shieldmaster
12- Two Weapon Rend
13- Trick Riding
15- Mounted Skirmisher
17-
18-
19-

The rest as you like.

Tactics- Simply use the horse to close faster than everybody else. Cavalier's charge is good. Then dismounted, full attack and have the horse flank. Use your class feature-stand still, to prevent enemies from moving away. The cavalier version is better than the standard feat. Save mounted feats for later. Or even skip them altogether. I've found most often that mounted combat finishes after the initial charge, then you simply get sticky and kill things. If you are gonna do it mounted Skirmishwe is better than spirited charge.
Gtr TWF usually offers dimishing returns but with your +5 to hit and a dex item to qualify may be worth it.

actully sounds kinda intresting >_< thanks

Cavalier is pretty much perfect for Kingmaker as-is, like Erik Freund said. If you absolutely must multiclass, I'd either go with one of two options. First, a single level of bard and then go into the Battle Herald class from the Advanced Players Guide.

Second, you could take just a few levels of a class that meshes well with your character concept (a base class like Barbarian or Ranger, or a prestige class like Hellknight or Horizon Walker) and take the Boon Companion (Pathfinder Chronicles: Seekers of Secrets) feat, which gives +4 to your effective level for purposes of determining your animal companion's abilities, up to a cap of your character level. This could give you some extra flavor without weakening your mount.

Yea Im not one to think its a needed thing to Multi or prestige class, but ima def looks at your suggestions thanks ^_^

Wait, no lance?

LUDICROUS!!!

He will have a lance and shield as secondary's and Unmounted have an elven curved blade, with crit focus and blinding critical. Im also going to go keen lance with small steel shield when mounted.

Im New to the kingmaker setting and the cavalier class, I plan on going 2h melee with high crit range. Any Ideas on Multiclassing or Prestige class options?

I think Adding A community Rolling area is best, have all players roll in A area close to you and always when your looking. does not point fingers and it fixes the issue
