About Raz Nonus

There could be little doubt that the child that would be Razimus was a bastard. Few if any half-orcs in Taldor could claim to be any different. Born to the scion of a fading noble house, the boy was tolerated grudgingly, though loved by few. He learned to fight with his fists early, and was given ample opportunity to practice against heavy odds. He did not often win.

When a traveling monk from Tian passed through the village, Raz saw his chance at a better life. He followed the strange woman out of town. It was days before she acknowledged him, days spent traveling through rain and sun, on dusty roads and muck mired trails. Raz burned through his meager supplies before long, but even after he’d gone hungry for a week he never gave up. Finally she agreed to take him on as a student.

He traveled with his Mistress for several years, helping her with Pathfinder business and learning about Irori and the path of perfection. Finally, last year, she deemed him ready to strike out on his own. Now a full Pathfinder himself, and a member of the Taldor faction, he fights to prove himself to a country that never wanted him in the first place.
