Hi, so I'm a first time GM going to run a Giantslayer (we all love Attack on Titan) game for a family I'm close with. I have the Gamemastery Guide open for the first time in front of me and it's describing miniatures v freeform movement and the only player that has previous experience with a game like this (the father played AD&D2 long ago) had already said this would be his preference. How would that work? I've only ever played with minis, but this being new for all of us I figure now is the time to learn a new style.

Hey, so first time gm and I'm running Rise of the Runelords. I was wondering if you all had any suggestions for me? Also, do I really need both the beastiary and the box for Rise of the Runelords?

What is a day's journey in the game?

I have a campaign idea for a ways down the road that would likely involve active, personal deities. And even if it is not a campaign that is based around this, it is something I would like to see more of in different campaigns... You pray or sacrifice, you get a boon... you offend a deity, you are smote. Be a particular champion of the ideals of a deity, or the deity itself, the deity appears and interacts with the PC's. To me the ways things are it seems like they are just the sources for some classes magic and occasionally one of them turns up dead.

I was wondering, do any of you play like this, had campaigns like this? How has it turned out for you?
