though I never played you at all
you had the gall to hold yourself

they crawled out of the woodwork

they set you on the mantle

it seems to me
your edition lasted
like a candle in the wind
never knowing
who to appeal to
though Paizo did
and I would have liked to have played you
but none of my friends did
your candle burned out long before
3.x ever did
loneliness was tough
like the toughest DC ever made
Renton called you a "superstar"
but it was nothing like MTG
even when you died
oh the grognards still hounded you
but the 4e forums had to say
