I created a character who is Human but Small in size but not Slow. The benefits and detrements of Small and Slow are defined in the Advanced Race Guide. To effect this I gave the character a cursed Belt so it removes a common and I believe powerful item slot. Is this a true curse or really a benefit to a low level PC?

My group has been gaming for decades and years ago we came up with an obscure house rule when we game on Easter (we always play on sundays). If a PC dies on Easter sunday their PC is ressurected (for free). This only applies to the first PC death which is rare but does occur. Yesterday a PC narrowly avoided an assassins death attack. Saved by a protection from arrows spell.

This is not meant to be sacraligous but I wondered if any others had any similiar or obscure house rules.
