Backstory: Rainer is a Samsaran who has served Nethys for many life cycles, as far back as he can remember. He has always been a scholar pushing to gather as much knowledge and spells as possible. Quite recently this brought him to Torch. He came seeking one of his old arcane teachers from this cycle, Khonnir Baine, who recently went missing. Rainer believes he is more than capable to help his old teacher.
Appearance: Rainer has light blue skin, dark blue hair that is cut short, and the white eyes with no irises typical of his race. He stands tall and lean, but never really looks imposing, just lanky. He wears a black and white robe in Nethys' style.
Personality: Rainer is extremely devout to Nethys and is quite stereotypical. He thinks magic is superior to most other methods, but sees the necessity of variety. He is extremely scholarly, always being driven forward by his curiosity and need to learn.
