Rafflesia returns to the group, covered in all manner of mysterious, strange-smelling materials, arms full of junk. "Oh, did I miss the race?! I guess I got a little too carried away rummaging through that junk pile..."

Round 1: Rafflesia excitedly rummages through the piles of junk for equipment to improve upon Laboni's racer.

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27

Rafflesia giggles excitedly as she pulls out two scuffed-up flame decals from the pile and slaps them on the side of Laboni's junkcycle. For +5 to base speed. ;)

Round 2: Realizing she has no idea how any of the machinery works (and enjoying her time rummaging through the junk yard a little too much), Rafflesia decides to continue searching for upgrades in hopes that her friends might know how to implement her finds.

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24

Round 3: Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17

Rafflesia scurries up to Null and drops what she believes to be a pair of small shields at their feet. "You'll know how to install these...thingamajigs on Jaboni's... motorbikeywhatsit, right?" For +2 to EAC and KAC

"Oh, this is just what I was hoping for! How fun! I think I know just the person to fake a death certificate..." Rafflesia grins mischievously.

Rafflesia's a coroner! Can I get a bonus for being "in the biz"? Hehe.

Rafflesia’s notched ears perk upon hearing the word “death.”

”What do you have in mind?” she squeaks excitedly.

"Oh, tea! How lovely!" Rafflesia mutters excitedly to herself, scurrying in behind Zaldekan.

Rafflesia squeals in terror and covers her eyes as the feather stalker makes its flashy appearance, but she quickly pulls herself together enough to get just into range to take a shot with her laser pistol.

Azimuth Laser Pistol: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

...Rafflesia chuckles to herself and glances around to make sure no one noticed that she forgot to take her hand from over her eyes.

Reflex: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10

Unfortunately, the crowd doesn't even seem to notice Rafflesia standing obliviously in their path of destruction, and pushes the ysoki over on their way to the front counter.

failing a save by ONE is so much worse than just totally biffing it ='(

Fortitude: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16

After the long hours of waiting in the line, the music actually grew on Rafflesia.

"I'll take a copy too, please!" she shouts from below the countertop, her feat too sore to do anymore jumping.

She will chip in for Ziggy's copy too!

"Oh, I think I remember studying these in biology!" Rafflesia jumps up and down in order to catch glimpses of the video file playing on the datapad.

She squeals and covers her eyes with her claws at the point where the feather stalker pounces on its downed victim. She stops her bouncing at that moment.

Life Science: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

"Eek! I'm so glad I daydreamt through most of this lesson... What a horrible creature!"

Rafflesia watches Tuudak and Zaldekan as they bow, and follows their example. She then waves at the children... "Good bye, little ones. You be good to Kieu Kein!"

...and scurries onto the shuttle.

Rafflesia, realizing that the creature is only scared, calms down and attempts to see if it might be hurt, cooing comfortingly at it as she examines it in various places.

Medicine: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12 A +8 in Medicine and still manage to roll a 12 *cry*

Rafflesia yelps as the bizarre creature leaps out from the vent. She swiftly puts more space in between her and the panicking specimen and wracks her brains trying to remember if she's ever seen or heard of it before...

"I...I might, but I'm not used to my subjects being so...ALIVE!"

Life Science: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22 she's a scholar, so Life Science checks to recall knowledge have their DCs reduced by 5... Does this count? =D

Though Rafflesia is hiding behind her team, she's still on high alert. Her almost constant muttering has stopped, and her eyes dart about the room frantically, keen on catching any skittering legs (or enveloping maws) before they catch her.

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22

Rafflesia lets out a defeated whimper and trudges along behind the rest of the party, laster pistol at the ready.

Rafflesia shudders at the idea of going face to face with the mysterious creature on the other side of the closed door. Surely all of those legs would make it all the more efficient at chasing her down and devouring her alive...

"Oh, dear... Yes, Rogers, why don't you go ahead! W-We'll...be right behind you! Hehe!" The ysoki's form shrinks and backs up even further behind Pokya and Null.

Rafflesia's face lights up. "Oh, Socks you say, little one? I have a cousin named Socks on Akiton!" But she suddenly becomes grim after a moment of pondering. "Oh, but...he's dead, so it couldn't be him." She chuckles nervously and backs up to hide behind Pokya's leg, blushing.

"Oh, does this mean everyone's here now?!" The raspy, high-strung voice of the ysoki that was once sitting across the room is now, startlingly, coming from between the two vesks. She jumps up a couple of times, attempting unsuccessfully to match their height. Once she realizes how ridiculous she looks, she stops her bouncing and reaches out both of her arms, one for each vesk, and shakes their hands excitedly. "I'm...Rafflesia!" she pauses slightly, as if having to remember her name. "I...I think your drone is adorable!" she adds shyly, not making eye contact with Zaldekan. It's now evident up close that the ysoki not only has all manner of leaves and twigs stuck in her dark-gray fur, but there are also green-tinged patches of what looks like moss.

She darts over to quickly do a cheek swab, and then fearlessly slams her right palm onto the panel for an implant. She shrinks away at the pain of the process but nonetheless lets out a high-pitched giggle.

Rafflesia proceeds to go about the room and introduce herself to the rest of her fellow initiates, waving the hand with her newly implanted Starfinder emblem, which she has activated.

"Everyone is so tall!" she exclaims, to no one in particular.
