I'm fine with knocking them out. We'll still need to keep a guard down here, probably all of us. Maybe one person slips out to get food and water for all of us. It maybe a day or so before the person returns. Or they may be there already. I wonder what they left for the pirates today?

Drat, I thought it was a bit of a dead end system that just was under the bridge. It sounds like the fence might be coming into the area from the other side. Rats. "On second thoughts, perhaps we should escort our prisoners out of the town. They don't know the fence and can't warn him. And in fact it would be against their interests to do so." suggests Q'lack. "I'd prefer not to just slit their throats, but the magistrate's presence with them would complicate things greatly." He looks hard at the pirates. "Unless any of you have a better suggestion for ensuring your cooperation? Maybe we should ask you each individually and the one with the best idea is given their freedom?"
