Seeker: Gain a +1 trait bonus on Perception checks, and Perception is always a class skill for you.

Feats
Scribe Scroll (Class Feat): You can create a scroll of any spell that you know. Scribing a scroll takes 2 hours if its base price is 250 gp or less, otherwise scribing a scroll takes 1 day for each 1,000 gp in its base price. To scribe a scroll, you must use up raw materials costing half of this base price.
Improved Initiative (Racial Feat): You get a +4 bonus on initiative checks.
Scholar [Knowledge (planes), Knowledge (arcana)]: Pick any two Knowledge skills. You gain a +2 bonus on these two skills. If you have 10 or more ranks in one of these Knowledge skills, the bonus increases to +4 for that skill.

Diviner’s Fortune (Sp): When you activate this school power, you can touch any creature as a standard action to give it an insight bonus on all of its attack rolls, skill checks, ability checks, and saving throws equal to 1/2 your wizard level (minimum +1) for 1 round. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Intelligence modifier.

History:

Qalendar past is somewhat of a mystery. He came to Sigil only a short time ago searching for a representative of the Bateezu. After a short negotiation he signed a contract and went to work. Those in the Free League that have come to know him wonder how a man who is seemingly an otherwise pleasent person would wish to work for such creatures.

Contract:

The details of Qalendar's contract are lengthy, but there are essentially three things required of him:
First, he will assist in the capture or elimination of [insert the name of a tanar'ri that another character is hunting for.]
Second, he will assist in the reclamation of [insert the name of an artifact or item that another character needs to recover/find/destroy.]
Third, he shall serve as an advisor to Gaslight, or another of the Bateezu as found appropriate. (The proper manner in which the Devils shall change "ownership" of his advisory service is detailed at length.)
And, in return, there are three things that will be given:
First, at the end of his three year service the body and soul of one, Balaa Tor Arzu, will be released.
Second, access to the journals of Tor Arzu kept in the library of [insert name] of the Bateezu.
Third, access to a selection of maps detailing the travels of Tor Arzu.

The rest of the contract amounts to the following: Qalendar's service will last no more than three years (as determined by the Baklunish Hegira), regardless of whether his first two requirements are complete. He is free to negotiate for his services with anyone outside of the Bateezu as long as they do not conflict with his three services. Any negotiation with the Bateezu must be approved and he is guaranteed "fair" treatment. (The exact approval process, like his change of service process, is quite lengthy.)


Description:

Qalendar is about as average a Balkunan as you're like to meet. His skin and hair are dark, his eyes, brown. He is, for the most part, completely unremarkable. He generally has a sad smile upon his face, rarely appears angry, and is often seen staring off and seemingly not paying attention to the moment. Even those that know him are often surprised at just how much he does notice.

He wears traveling clothes typical of people of his land, loose and comfortable. Even the ring upon his finger is a simple silver band.
