19: Boon Chronicle: Season 6 Player Boon #13 - Personal Fixer Exploring ancient historical sites is dangerous work that’s made a lot easier by having the right tools for the job. You employ a specialist fixer or quartermaster who is able to secure a variety of inexpensive equipment for you. At the start of an adventure you receive 25 gold pieces that you may spend on any combination of alchemical, magical, and mundane equipment, but your fixer must spend an hour in a settlement of 5,000 or more people to make any purchases. In smaller settlements, the time increases to 1d4+1 hours. You cannot supplement the cost of such a purchase with your own gold. At the end of the adventure, you must return any of this equipment that you did not otherwise expend or destroy in the course of your travels.
If you have 9 or more Fame, you may spend 1 Prestige Point to increase the starting sum to 50 gold pieces. If you have 18 or more Fame, you may spend an additional 2 Prestige Points (3 total) to increase the sum to 100 gold pieces. If you have 27 or more Fame, you may spend yet another 3 Prestige Points (6 total) to increase the sum to 150 gp. Finally, if you have 36 or more Fame, you may spend another 4 Prestige Points to increase the sum to 250 gold pieces.
The factor otherwise follows all of the rules for follower vanities on pages 60–61 of the Pathfinder Society Field Guide.
20: #3-12: Wonders in the Weave—Part I: The Dog Pharaoh's Tomb - *SLOW*
* Scarab Sages Faction Card Goal Advanced: Explore an ancient site during the course of an adventure. To qualify, the original occupants must have abandoned the site at least 1,000 years ago, and it must cover at least 2,500 square feet (a 50-ft.-by-50-ft. area).
21: #43: The Pallid Plague - *SLOW* - 6
* Scarab Sages Faction Card Goal Completed: Possess a number of ranks in one of the following skills equal to your character level (minimum 4): Appraise, Knowledge (any), or Linguistics.
22: Pathfinder Module: Carrion Hill - *SLOW*
* Boon: Fighting That Which Lies Between The Stars: You have faced the horrors of the Dark Tapestry and are one of the few who have survived the encounter with both mind and body mostly intact. As a result, you have developed greater mental fortitude against such cosmic horrors. You receive a +1 bonus on saves against fear and confusion effects.
* Boon: Insight Into the Dark Tapestry: Your experiences at Carrion Hill have given you a greater insight into the creatures that lie in the darkness between the stars. You may gain one bit of useful information about a single aberration as though you had succeeded at a Knowledge check to identify the creature. When you have used this boon, cross it off the Chronicle sheet.
* Scarab Sages Faction Card Goal Advanced: Recruit a named NPC scholar, archaeologist, or similar figure to join the Scarab Sages. Recruitment requires a Diplomacy or Knowledge (local) check with a DC equal to 15 plus your character level.
23: Boon Chronicle: Fantasy Grounds Con 2016 Boon # 10 - Ley Line Access: You have located and accessed a ley line somewhere on Golarion. Typically a ley line can only grant power to a nearby spellcaster, but you have stored a fragment of its energy that you can use anywhere.
Choose one of the ley lines listed below, each of which affects a particular type of magic and a location (a country or a large geographic feature). When casting a spell that has at least one of the listed descriptors, you can check one of the boxes above to increase your effective caster level for that spell by 1. When participating in an adventure where the ley line is located, you can use this ability once during the adventure without checking a box.
Janhelia’s Spine (curse and fire; Osirion): Recently rediscovered and named in honor of the Ruby Prince’s unseen advisor, this line channels much of the desert’s heat and may have been one factor that led to the Osirian use of curses to guard their tombs.
24: #5–16: Destiny of the Sands—Part 3: Sanctum of the Sages - *SLOW*
* Boon: Mythic Legacy: Although yur mythic power was short-lived, you have retained a small reserve of that legendary essence for use later. When you activate this ability as a free action, you choose one feat that you have. For one round (or as long as it takes to complete a skill check modified by the feat), you gain the benefits of the mythic version of that feat as if you had also expended one use of mythic power. When you use this boon, cross it off your Chronicle sheet.
* Boon: Savior of the Sages: With your help, the Osirion faction has realized its goal of rebuilding the order of the Jeweled Sages. Like the order, you are able to linger at the edge of death yet awaken again when the conditions are right, and your time studying the sages' secrets has made you an expert in Osirian history. Your effective Constitution score for determining when you would die from hit point damage increases by 1, and you gain a +1 bonus on Constitution checks to stabilize. In addition, you gain a +1 bonus on Knowledge (history) and Knowledge (religion) checks regarding Osirion and it's gods. For each Seeking the Sages boon you have from earlier parts of this series, increase these bonuses by 1.
* Scarab Sages Faction Card Goal Completed: Recover an intact sage jewel, or convince a person to whom a sage jewel is attuned to join the Scarab Sages faction.
25: #5–23: Cairn of Shadows - 7
* Boon: Return the Favor: You have gone into the dark and dangerous lands of Nidal, learned about the horselords, and thwarted the enemies of the Lodge. You may use this boon to have your body and possessions recovered by a Pathfinder rescue team (Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play 26) at no cost. When you use this boon, cross it off your Chronicle sheet.
26: #9-07: Salvation of the Sages
* Scarab Sages Faction Card Goal Completed: Participate in an adventure that includes at least three encounters in one of the following regions once controlled by Ancient Osirion: Geb, the Mana Wastes, Nex, Osirion, Rahadoum, or Thuvia. - Thuvia
SCRIBE (2+ goals): You gain a special scarab that gradually stores your memories and guards your life force. The gem grants a bonus on saving throws against death effects equal to 1 plus 1 for every four goals you have completed (rounded down).
