About Praetos
Praetos is a giant of a man, standing 6'6" tall and weighing around 220 pounds. He has Shoanti Sklar-Quah tattoos on his face and right shoulder, which he coated in wode prior to a Gladiatorial match.
He was kidnapped by a raiding party of Belzken orcs at age 14. The orcs sold him to a slaver from Tymon, who trained him as a gladiator once he was strong enough to survive his first match.
Although only 18, Praetos gained fame for one season as the Shoanti barbarian known to Colosseum audiences as "Grom." They would chant his name as he entered the arena, and he never disappointed his fans... until the day he missed his first match. Praetos managed to escape the arena with the help of a dwarven weaponsmith. The weaponsmith smuggled him out of Tymon and let him accompany the dwarf's caravan beyond the River Kingdoms and into southeast Andoran.
Now, Praetos lives as a "sword-for-hire" as he continues his travels as far from Tymon as possible.
