I would like to cancel the referenced order. This is to say, I would like to cancel the part that hasn't already arrived - obviously, the part I've gotten already and had for better than half a year I'm keeping. ;-)

I need to change the address on these preorders, and I can't find a way to do that. I don't have any subscriptions, so can't change the subscription address. Can I e-mail you with the change?

Why is CR tied so strongly to size? Fine creatures, let's say, might not realistically have 100 HP, but since when did realism step into the picture? I mean, a 2 or 3 HD Tiny Fey becomes even scary for even level 4 parties when you throw down DR and Energy Resistance, high-speed and high-maneuverability flight, stealth bonuses, tumble bonuses, and poisoncraft (not natural poison, but venom-bladed weapons). I'm thinking there's a reasoning behind this, so I'd like to hear it before I either bash the system or try to playtest it. Also the inverse - who said a Large creature can't be CR 1?

Incidentally, other than the size thing here I think the system overall is a strong addition. While I see a few other points that may/may not be kinks, overall it's really strong and just needs a few tune-ups before it's just right.

While this could be an alchemy thread, this is a general plea. Whatever ideas people are proposing, please calm down about them. There are a number of instances of people expressing opinions in tones that chastise or demean others or expressly invalidate any opposing opinion, either at the opening or in reply to other, opposing opinions. While having factual or logical arguments is one thing, I'm beginning to get tired of the "because we all know everybody who disagrees with this statement is an idiot" threads. And I'm not completely without shame on this, I admit.

General plea to calm down.

And hopefully people other than the ones I'm less riled up about will agree.

From Unearthed Arcana, maybe we could implement fractional attack and save bonuses? Thus, a rogue gains +0.75 attack bonus per level and a wizard gains +0.5? Similar for saves. I always liked this because it made it harder to bone the system (or be boned by the system) when multiclassing.

The most obnoxious thing in the world are XP costs and level loss. Can we possibly go to the "XP debt" system instead? It's vastly easier to handle, it retains the bite of XP costs and permanent level loss, but isn't a numerical nightmare and makes item creation something somebody might actually want to do for a change.
